My husband has Raynauds syndrome and he has never been able to find a light weight jacket that keeps him very warm. I just bought him the Voodoo 590 for Christmas and he loves it. Thank you Columbia!

I live in Chicago where the winters are long, very cold and seriously windy. This coat truly does block the wind. I use public transit and am often waiting outside in the cold and this coat keeps me warm. The best part about it is that it is ultra light weight. This is my second time buying this jacket(in a different color). Highly recommend!

Not another puffer, this ones not for the closet...this ones for the outdoors. I have searched high and low for the (one) puffer to have, and the search just might be over. The 590 turbo down, and Omni-heat thermal reflective must have some kind of spell on it because it's light yet durable, it's warm, and it just feels gooood!! So, if you do.. like I do, put on the VooDoo and you'll feel like I do...

Upon removing the jacket from the packaging, I was a little skeptical to how light and thin the jacket seemed to be. But after testing it out in MN's brutal sub zero degree temperature for a week, I am convinced that this is the perfect winter jacket. The jacket does run a hair bigger than most other brands I'm used to purchasing, however it works out well. It allows me to wear hoodies and sweaters underneath without feeling constricted. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, lightweight jacket that gets the job done.

I wish I would have bought this coat before. I have a heated Milwaukee coat and this coat is better and without the bulk of a battery. It's looks good and keeps warm, I love it.

Amazingly light weight yet extremely warm wind will not go through it just as warm as a very heavy weight coat. Very unrestrictive. I liked it so well I bought one for my son and another as a gift for a friend. 3x for me 2x for friend, L for my son. All were good fit.

I got this poof for my boyfriend because his old one was ripping at the seems (not from Columbia). The new one is even warmer because of the omni-heat, and it is soooo soft and fluffy and warm. Also love that there is a hood.

This jacket exceeded my expectations. The color was on point, stitching is impeccable and no down escapes. My husband said this kept him very warm on his last outdoor adventure and was the perfect essential to layer under his heavier jacket and perfect for backpacking where lightweight is ESSENTIAL.

I'm not low grading the jacket, the Voo Doo Falls 590TD is an excellent product, quality is there, feels durable, and the warmth technology is impressive. I wear a long sleeve t-shirt or a "base-layer" long sleeve under the jacket and I'm warm and comfortable down to the 30s in a humid environment like central Tx. I haven't experienced the wind/cold combo too much yet, but I'm not worried. And I mentioned just below "top tier warmth", because I own a 650TD puffer-vest, and it's a noticeable difference. Based on what you need, this jacket is great for temps down to the 30s with just one layer. Good job Columbia, Thank you for a great product that did not break the bank.

Love this Jacket. I'm 5'6 180 and ordered a large as a previous Columbia hybrid jacket I ordered was a medium and was a bit snug. The large had a little more room than anticipated but it's working ok because when it's REAL cold I can layer thick fleece and have room for it. The draw chord waste is a plus and the jacket has been durable and warm. Minimal feather loss. Would definitely buy this jacket again.

I was concerned with buying a jacket without trying it on, but it was a perfect fit and I love the way it looks. It's warm and lives true to its functions.

This is my first down jacket so can't compare to others. Thus far, when I've gone hunting with it in the fall temps (20-35deg) here in WY, it's been stellar and kept me warm, even with 30+mph winds. It fits me perfectly, and isn't too tight or loose. Overall pleased with this product.

I purchased this coat for my husband who has a tall frame and long arms. He loves it! It lasted him through the Michigan winter without any complaints. Actually sometimes he said that the coat kept him too warm.

Bought for my son for a trip in January to Chicago. He is 5 10 and 140 and the medium was perfect. It kept him so incredibly warm. He brought two down jacket but prefers this one. It is so light weight but keeps you warm and cozy. Even better it with stood the chilling Chicago wind. Best Jacket ever.

Living in northern Wisconsin you need a great jacket for the winter to keep from being miserable. This Columbia jacket does it all lightweight, generous movement and love the hoodie for the days that I don't want to have a stocking cap.

When I received the jacket I was a little concerned because it wasn't as thick as I originally thought it to be. I was pleasantly surprised how effective the TurboDown technology was and it's ability to insulate and keep you warm. It almost adapts to the ambient temperature and your body heat so that no matter what the temperature is, you are comfy and insulated properly. Not overly warm or too cold. It's perfect in the cold outdoors and even indoors (in an office)! Best part? It's ridiculously lightweight! It so good, I ended up purchasing two additional jackets with the same technology!

Columbia is absolutely right, this is a warm, soft, and very light jacket. There Omni-Heat technology really works. The zippers are good quality and don't get jammed up. I don't notice too many feathers coming out of the jacket either. I have been using it for a few days now. In fact, I used it today (28 degree Fahrenheit, snowy weather) to drop my kid to school. While all the other parents have big, bulky, and puffy jackets, mine is very light. However, I do not feel cold one bit. I really love this jacket. My only issue is that I got a large, and I think a medium would have fit me better. That's my fault though. I should have exchanged it, but I already took the tags off. I'm writing this review for a chance to win $100 as part of their promo to write a review. If I win, you want to know what I'm going to do with the money? I'm buying myself another Voodoo Falls TurboDown jacket, this time in medium :-)

This lightweight jacket is versatile and stylish; whether in the snow or in the rain, it provides comfortable warmth without the unsightly bulkiness usually associated with down jackets. If layered with Columbia fleece products you'll be prepared for the weather.

The jacket is great. He really likes how it fits and warmer than he thought it would be. He likes it so much he wants to order some other things off the site.
