Used this jacket as a mid layer while fishing at 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Kept me plenty warm and retained heat very well. Excellent product.

This coat is so warm and comfortable. My go to coat for outdoor activities. Love it.

I 1st got gray size lg for my teenage son who is 6'1", 185lbs. However it was tight in the shoulders and short in the arms if he put a sweater or hoodie underneath. so, we exchanged for an XL and it fits better. The XL arms are long enough and he has room to layer, which is important in CO. I like the fact that the bottom/waist can be cinched to keep the cold out. The coat is good quality. He should be able to wear this for a few years or until it wears out! He's very picky and likes it! WINNING!

I was looking for a lightweight, but still warm jacket for those "warm" winter days. This was perfect. It's not bulky or heavy, still keeps my son warm

This is a good jacket for milder midwest winter days. I primarily have been wearing it when it has been between 20-35 degrees outside while on walks and it keeps me warm. If you were just standing still you may want to make sure you have a few good layers on underneath to keep you comfy. i really enjoy how lightweight this jacket is. It's much lighter than other coats I have while still keeping me warm. The only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the fact that it only has 2 pockets (no interior pockets, 2 on the outside for each hand) but it's not a big enough issue to not give this 5 stars. The pockets are very warm though and can keep your hands warm if you aren't wearing gloves.

My husband has the same coat without a hood. I loved it so good that I bought myself one and got the hooded version. It is the warmest coat ever without being bulky and heavy. Love it!

Excellent high quality light weight, beautiful navy color, looks nice, warm enough flr southern Texas. Bought it for my 12 year old son, usually he wears a size S this jacket runs big I kept it since he is still growing fast. Loved the silver lining. I liked this jacket so much I am buying one for muy husband to wear when travels.

When I received this jacket I thought I ordered the wrong product as it seemed a bit flimsy for winter. I was incorrect as the omni heat technology lining does the job. And the jacket is so light it's so deceiving! It got to single digits on the temperature gauge very recently and the jacket did it's job. The hood is in the right spot as it's available but not annoyingly in the way when not in use (when driving). My previous winter coat, which rhymed with Smalvin Flein, wasn't as well made as the Columbia jackets are (and was really annoyingly bulky). I'll only buy Columbia jackets from now on!

I bought the jacket almost as an emergency, as I did not have a blue one. It was a good surprise to see the color, as in the web page looks a darker. The main surprise was de Omni-heat, as really work. Keeps you warm and it is not really heavy! My size is M and I feel the jacket a little big, but it works with a fleece or sweater with feeling to tight. The description said that is waterproof, but a couple of time I feel that get wet easily. Despite this, is a good jacket and very warm

I bought this jacket thinking it would be good for days around slightly below freezing, but I was surprised to see how warm this jacket was in temperatures even below 20 F. It is extremely light, fits just right and has enough room in the pockets for gloves or caps.

I love my new jacket. It's very warm and comfortable and the price was great. Customer service was wonderful, professional and very helpful in choosing the correct jacket for me. The Men's Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown Hooded Puffer is the real deal.

I would have to say that this jacket is very warm and comfortable. The jacket does run a little big, but it is very comfortable to wear with a sweater underneath. Doesn't feel bulky or restricting!

This was a gift for my son and he was very happy with it. He wanted a warm but light weight coat. He can fold this up and put it in his backpack without adding weight. He loved it! I do not understand why the black, which is what I purchased, is so much more than the other colors.

Jacket was very light offers good protection . Would be perfect if it offers different fit options.

My guy loves this coat! Not too puffy, lightweight enough to wear over sweaters or alone, and most importantly, WARM. He liked it so much I purchased one for myself. We like the Omni-heat in everything we can get.

The jacket fitted right slightly on the large side. It is very light weight and warm enough to withstand subzero with a good additional layer inside. Perfect for hiking

Jacket is well made and great for the cold weather.

my XL runs a little large, i'm guessing so that you can wear some additional layers below it. The style is interesting, with 2 different shades of blue blending into each other, and also a slight camo pattern in the background. Love the reflective material on the inside, it keeps me toasty, only when i do have some layers in between though - if i just wore the jacket in cold weather alone, i don't think it would work that well. The jacket is suprisingly thin, and not as puffy as i had hoped... still nice.

I bought this for my guy and he is really excited about it. It will be perfect for camping because it packs down very small, and it is incredibly warm. We got the gray one, and it's a little lighter in color than we expected, but it looks great on him nonetheless.

Originally bought the large which was too big. The medium fit perfectly. Great color. Warm, but feels light weight, not bulky. My boyfriend wears it every day.

This is a great winter jacket. Very warm without being bulky, and very lightweight. I can wear a long sleeved tshirt and this and be comfortable down to about 40 degrees. With a light sweater, it's great down into the 20s. A great buy, would do it again!
