Super light and warm vest. Really love it. I am 5'6" and 160lb. Fits well shoulder-wise but around the midsection is quite loose. I almost always wear Medium. Would have been more flattering if fit more snug in the midsection. I'm sure when wearing a sweater or sweat shirt underneath, it will be just fine. Still love the vest and technology.

I have another columbia vest that is not down and it's nice but this one is awesome. It's down of course but it is thinner so it has a better look and feel to it. Less bulky. Also this one is a little shorter which I find perfect. With a hoodie on the length of the vest matches up with the hoodie nicely. To me it is a perfect vest between the fit, the design and the warmth. It's warm, what else would you expect from down and synthetic mix. One and only one small suggestion to Columbia. Put the draw strings on the sides. In the front seems weird plus I think on the sides they function better.

I have a jacket with the same omni heat lining that I love. This vest is the perfect compliment to that. I can layer it or wear it separately. Looking forward to colder weather (but not too cold) to wear this all the time. I like the high neck. With that and the omni-heat my core is quite comfortable.

Great vest. Fits as expected (XL). Warm, nice zippered pockets, good fit, made well, and love the reflective inner lining. Excellent choice.

As noted by other customers, this vest is LARGE. Usually I wear XL but guided by the reviews I purchased a Large - perfect fit. The vest is well made, soft and warm and not so bulky that is can't be used as a mid-layer. It would have been better with larger YKK nylon zips, but cannot really fault the ones on it. Minor gripe. The inside security pocket is a real bonus. No jacket should be designed without one, in fact!

Lightweight and well constructed. Great for early morning hikes. Runs a little bigger than normal size.

Love the vest. It does run big. I wear a large, or sometimes an XL, but in this a medium is perfect.

I have purchase two of these for my husband. He wears one daily. The fit is a perfect medium. The quality is excellent. Easy to clean.

Bought as a gift for husband. He loves it! Wears it most everyday in winter & foggy spring days. The black vest is dressy enough to wear to casual business meetings. Light weight, warm, but not bulky or boxy. He gave it a definite thumbs up!

The size I ordered (M) runs a little larger but if you wear a thick sweater it should fit. The vest is very light and comfortable. I tried it on at home and it felt sweat on my back not even after one minute. I guess it will keep me warm in winter.

Bought the large based on trying on other Columbia vests. Way too large. Medium fits well. I am 5'9" 175 lbs. Nice and light and warm for the weight. Very Happy with this purchase.

The area of the Northwest in which I live recently experienced sub freezing temperatures for days on end. My Voodoo Falls 590 turbo down vest was amazing. Light and compact this vest was the perfect layer to keep my core warm while making added layering for snow and wind very comfortable and easy. The pockets are zippered and lined and very useful. Two big thumbs up.

Purchased this for my husband as he always "runs cold". This vest was the perfect answer for the NW!

Voodoo Falls vest is very flexible, versatile and therefore has lots of uses. Functionally, it keeps me warm but not hot. It is "smart" and therefore I can use it with both casual and lightly formal attire.

Love this very light but very warm vest. I also like the internal chest pocket that makes my phone very accessible. I am wearing an XXL in most tops but these vest are roomy so I have it in an XL and it fits great

I'm 180lbs and 6'3. I usually wear a medium but in this case the small fit me the best. I do not like my vests to be loose at all, and the small fits me perfectly in that regard. It's pretty warm as well
