This vest is perfect as a layer or by itself when it is cool outside.

Wanted a vest that I could wear out to the store or out for a walk or hiking and this fit the bill perfectly. It is very light weight and very warm and comfortable. Do not think you would go wrong with it.

I purchased the Powder Lite synthetic version previously - sadly lost after two years of frequent use - and had also tried on the down version at a nearby store, with both providing a nice snug fit in a size Large (me being 5'10" 190 lbs) for use under a rain jacket/shell. Worked well. The Voodoo Falls version which I ordered online - is definitely at least a half size bigger. The previous reviews I read call it true to size, but this one is very different than the other vests. Just want folks to know. While I prefer wearing my vest under shells, etc., this one will work for wearing over a sweater/sweatshirt. I'll keep it as I'm not sure if the size Medium would fit or not. It seems warmer than the synthetic only version - though it's not exactly cold while wearing at present so hard to tell for sure. Another thing that this vest doesn't have is an inside pocket like other versions have. I don't typically keep things in there but I have actually "packed" the jacket inside the inside pocket and toted. This jacket doesn't have that option.

I love the vest in every EXCEPT that it's SO big. I saw the recommendation on the product page that I size down, so I went with Medium instead of my usual size in most jackets (Large). This vest arrived and STILL fits pretty big on me. I ordered a Small now just to see and compare. For reference, I am 6' 3" and 175 lbs - I do not wear a size Small in ANYthing. So buyer be warned! Great vest, but sizing is weirdly big.

5'11", 180 Ibs, athletic build, size medium in this product (typically wear a large), black color Great for an outer layer over a sweatshirt, or even under an overcoat. It can still be pulled off even over a base layer (long sleeve), but might appear oversized. Provides ample protection from the cold, particularly on the neck, and upper back. The design isn't crazy looking, and the black version isn't absurdly shiny. My mom also liked it, and so far, I'm happy with it. Lastly, I can't account for the durability, but I haven't noticed any abnormal deficiencies.

I like the vest but I cannot seem to order cloths from you that fit the way I think that they should. This vest fits better than the last few items I purchased from you but it is to roomy at the waistline. Perhaps you could have a slim line in addition to regular and big and tall

Having recently purchased a number of Columbia products, the vest was a nice addition. I like that all of their outerwear scales to the same fit, thus if I buy one piece at medium all of the others fit as well. The vest works well to keep me warm when I don't need insulated sleeves. I have the matching jacket and it works well when I do need sleeves.

I'm a driver for a couple of those food delivery app companies, and I would get overheated wearing a normal jacket in 30F-degree weather from the constant moving around, so I looked into getting a vest. I decided to try the Voodoo out as I had the sleeved version of the jacket (which I love). Sizing: I normally wear XXXL tops comfortably in other brands, and 2X with Columbia. I tried the XL version of the vest, and it actually fits pretty well. It is a little snug, and a XXL might be a better fit, but I have been losing weight so I decided to stick with the XL. Performance: The vest does really well in keeping my core warm. I feel I made a great choice as I am no longer experiencing the issues that I was having while making deliveries in sleeved version of the jacket. I also used the vest as an inner layer while snowboarding, and the snugness did nothing to hinder my range of movement. The only complaint I have with this jacket is the same that I have with the sleeved version: the amount of feathers that keep coming out. Otherwise, I don't regret this purchase at all.

The large fits like an extra large. Seems to work well, though. Lots of layers underneath I guess.

It seems that I tried on a Large and found it a bit snug so I ordered an XL but I could grap about 3" in the front. That was with a t-shirt and cotton waffle top. Even adding a heavy fleece under it was still roomy. I've sent it back and am waiting for a Large. Wish me luck!

Although I found this vest runs a little large for me, (I'm husky at 5' 10", 215) the quality is top-notch, typical Columbia fare. This is a great layering item or for over a medium to heavy shirt. Underneath a light jacket you get a tremendous layer of warmth.

XL was larger than normal in torso. Returned.

Bought this for my dad and got him two sizes. The XXL was really big on his waist, but perfect on the chest (little small around the arms). The XL was perfect around the waist but way too tight around the chest. It's a great quality vest, but the fit is weird. Sucks....really wanted it to fit.

I bought this for my Dad in the XL size. He loves the way it keeps him warm but because of his age and arthritis, he has a lot of difficulty zipping up the zipper. If it weren't for the low quality of the zipper, i would highly recommend this.

I would love to give a great review, but unfortunately I haven't even received my order that was placed on Jan 3, 2021 and today is Jan 18, 2021.
