The fit is spot on. i wore it against my body and felt occasional chills, wearing as base layer with t-shirt over, it was slightly better. Wearing t-shirt as base layer with Columbia on top is the most effective

This is very warm. Worn on day of 30 below and it kept me warm. The problem is that I was working and very active and the shirt kept riding up and the bottom of the shirt would end up halfway up my torso. I would have to keep pulling it down and tucking it back in. If you are going to do a lot of reaching than I do not recommend but fine for walking outside.

The mid weight and light weight have completely different top layer materials. Light weight is comfy. Mid weight is a piece of crap.

I have purchased no less than 2 dozen Columbia shirts - not all Omni Heat.. I just opened the Omni HeatI ordered most recently (Black). It is cut as a medium. This shirt was made in China.
This is the second time this has occurred. The Omni Heat shirt I ordered initially (Black) was made in Sri Lanka and still fits perfectly. The Omni Heat order before this was grey - made in China -same issue -it is a medium cut but labeled L/G.
I am done w/Columbia.
