Accomplishes everything that a base layer is supposed to do with a simple thin extraordinary warm Shirt

I bought one shirt at a Columbia outlet store a few years ago, which languished in the back of the drawer until I took up serious bike riding. This fall I found myself repeatedly looking for this shirt as the weather turned cool. It became a "go-to" base layer combining warmth, lightness and wicking in a nearly perfect combination. When preparing for another trip to Vienna and faced with packing for variable cool-to-cold weather I realized I had the perfect solution in the one shirt. Nearly perfect except for the red color, so I remedied it with a purchase of three white shirts. I am in Vienna in windy, cold, rainy weather, wearing this base layer with a light casual shirt, congratulating myself on a brilliant solution.

I have purchased omni-heat Baselayer before and have been very satisfied for over 5 years with this product. I've only used Midweight and am encouraged that quality has not decreased over time. I changed my usual choice of size this time and went one size up for a more comfortable fit and to see how they work with more "air space" between me and the fabric. I wore this in 6-degree weather and was very comfortable, even when I had to take off my heavy coat to do some work.

I wore this on a recent hiking trip and it was terrific. Kept me warm and flexible in the 40-50s degree Fahrenheit range. I wore just this as a top and didn't need to worry about packing anything extra because it was perfect. There was only a light breeze, so I can't say how much wind resistance it has, but I didn't notice the wind chilling me or anything.
I bought a large and it was perfect. I'm 5'9 185 muscular build.

I bought this shirt a few weeks ago to wear as a baselayer shirt for some winter sport activities. I've used other Columbia products that featured Omni-Heat technology, and I am a true believer. The fit is spot-on and worn as a baselayer with several layers on top, I was toasty playing in the snow (at least on the top...need to work on keeping my feet warm). I'm 5'10", weighing-in around 175-180 lbs., and the medium fit just right. The large was way too large. Most Columbia products I wear a medium in, but there are some that I've needed to go up to the large. Not in this case!

My wife and I purchased the light and mid weight versions of these and are very happy with outdoor performance. This a very good base layer, keeps me warm and breathes at the same time. It is extremely versatile I wear it when I run, or when I walk the dog, or when I need to be outside for any reason. It is thin and layers well with other clothing without causing discomfort. Only drawback is that the label does not say whether it is lightweight or mid weight (I suppose you can tell by feel) or if it is a men's or a woman's.

Bought this for my husband because he's been talking about a warmer undershirt. He LOVES it. Keeps him warm all day and literally won't stop wearing it (except to wash of course)

I like the fit, look, and feel of this shirt. Plan to use it as a base layer for biking and kayaking this spring. It will be fine by itself, too, if not need the top layer.

I bought this base layer shirt for my boyfriend who is an avid fisherman. He's out at least 100 days a year, including Minnesota winters. This base layer shirt is excellent. Fits true to size with a little bit of stretch and long arms and torso for layering that won't ride up throughout the day. The omniheat keeps him warm and wicks sweat. He has the matching base layer tights and loves them both. Highly recommend.

Finally got a chance to try this out in colder weather and it did not disappoint. 42 degrees with just my Glennaker rain jacket was a perfect combo. I was afraid it might be too hot once the sun came out and temps raised but it was still really comfortable. Sweat wicked away nicely and didn't pool up in one spot.
I'm 5'11", 190 lbs and purchased a medium based on other reviews. It was a perfect fit. Snug but not suffocating.

This is my favorite long-sleeve shirt. A lot of these kinds of shirts are too short in the sleeves for me because I have long arms, but not this one. The fit is perfect, with a nice amount of stretch, and it's a soft fabric. It's also versatile -- I wear it to work out as well as around town as an undershirt on cooler days. I've worn it dozens of times and it feels like I just bought it. It's just a great shirt.

Got this Omni Heat base layer to wear biking in early season weather. Perfect for the task of keeping arms warm and not sweating throughout the core. The arms are a bit snug but very comfortable and the shirt tail is long enough to tuck in. I actually ordered a second one for travel.

I was looking for a way to increase my heart rate during my workouts. This shirt with the Omni-heat technology has helped immensely when I wear it as a top layer over my weight vest. I really like it and have one for each day!

I love the Omni-Heat base layer shirt. It is perfect for early season golf. It allows me to reduce the number of layers that I need to keep warm which means my swing is less restricted. I recommend it for anyone who loves to play golf in colder weather. Try one - you will love it!
