Cool insulated and lightweight boots. Columbia is a good company

Headed to Colorado for Christmas and these are perfect for what I am going to be doing. They fit perfect and I love the color!

This was my first purchase of a Columbia hiking boot and will not be my last. The shoe fits very well with little break-in required for my feet wearing medium weight wool blend socks. I purchased the Newton Ridge Plus II Waterproof boot for dog walking and general exercise walking on streets. The shoes are waterproof in wet grass and have good traction on wet grass and both wet and dry roads. The shoes are very comfortable overall and are stylish with color accents and shoe laces. I think these shoes are a great value and I highly recommend them.

This is my 5th pair of these boots. They are fantastic. The fit is perfect and they are comfortable right out of the box. The tread grips well and the waterproof feature works great. I've hiked and walked in the rain and snow (packed snow mountain trails) in temperatures as low as 5 degree and with a good pair of wool socks my feet have always stayed warm and dry. They aren't insulated so I think standing or not moving much in the cold would be different.

This is my third pair (in third color) of these gems. Stylish and functional!

Feel solid and well made. Little hard to tighten as much as I would like but with a little strenght it works. They look great and appear to have great support. Wont be able to review further until summer when I use them for some casual hikes!

I'm a Golf Course Superintendent and a former Marine and this is by far the best boot that I have ever worn. I am on my 4th pair and will continue to buy these until the day I die. Especially since this is offered in wide sizes.

So far i like the boots. They fit perfectly and are comfortable. One little thing i noticed when walking the dog in the rain after about an hour the toes in my right foot got a little wet. Not sure if there is a crack or something but my left foot was fine. Not a big deal as my right foot was still mostly dry. Still happy with purchase so far.

The size is spot on, availability of a wide option is a key differentiator. These didn't need any real breaking in, for me they were comfy and just the right support from the start.
