The few times I have worn them, it has been for the entire day. The foot/ankle support is great. Need to break them in over a period of time as it is difficult to get them really tightened. Be sure to where thicker than normal socks to ensure a secure fit. The traction is great, but remember smooth surfaces are not very safe with these shoes, so be careful. I look forward to wearing more often and hope they can stay in good shape for a long time.

I work outside and am a large person. I have difficulty finding comfortable work boots. I tried these hiking boots on and WOW. The fit was great, the comfort was great. This is my second pair. I have had the first pair for a year and am still wearing them. They water proofing is good too.

I've had these boots for about two years now and they still get the job done. Keep your feet dry in the rain and warm in the snow, and has enough traction for sprinting through wet and icy conditions. Even after two years of putting it through its paces, these boots have plenty of cushioning left. It also has great ankle support! If you're planning a trek or have a job that requires you to be on your feet most of the time, these are the boots for you.

It's an Awesome Product to have. Contrary to some reviews I ran into in the past, this product is true to its size and very comforting when went on hiking past two years. This is the second pair I ordered and I love it. I wish it has more traction to it for greater control though. I would recommend this shoe to everyone. Thanks to Columbia!!!

These boots are amazing Light weight water proof and they are really comfortable I'd definitely recommend them

The great of this shoes is that Columbia does it very light and it helps a lot to be able to use it all day.

This is a great working boot or everyday boot.

I'm on my 3rd pair of these boots and have been very happy with them. I was looking for a comfortable, yet sturdy boot to wear for my construction job that would also work for normal wear. These boots have been through the wringer and have held up better than most boots constructed solely as work boots at a fraction of the cost. They are also comfortable.

Bought these to replace my timberlands, these at 1000 times more comfortable and I used them on a Canadian fishing trip in which they kept my feet dry in the rain.

Waterproof and awesome fit

I have owned several pairs of these boots now and the waterproof feature is very nice. Even after hard use, they are still waterproof and functioning as they should!

Okay, so I'm waiting and waiting cuz I'm one of them kids that can't wait to open Xmas presents. Alas, it arrives and I take em for a 15 mile test spin around L.A. and Santa Monica OMG!! They're like my new best friends cuz they are going to Peru with me next fall. No break in time required, now that should have been printed on the box!!!

Its nice to be able to wear my boots to work everyday and feel like I'm in sneakers. These are incredibly comfortable, definitely waterproof as advertised, and will probably be my go-to boots for quite sometime. Love them

My husband loves these shoes. As a supervisor in a factory or everyday they are great.

I'd rather sacrifice a little support and bulk for comfort, which these boots offer in spades. That being said, these are still an extremely durable and resilient pair of light- weight boots. Over two years (two winters) of Colorado work including logging, tree cutting, fieldwork, as well as, a whole lot of play in every season. Wet/dry, hot/cold these boots provide a good balance for me and keep me light on my feet. Also, I'm probably closer to a men's 8 1/2, but a 9 with wool socks is perfect. Just bought my second pair of these boots, would recommend.

That being said, these boots are awesome. It took less than a week to break in. They're super comfortable and could be worn everyday. They're also pretty light weight for their ruggedness. Would definitely recommend.

The boots fit well & comfortable, right out of the box. I wanted some lightweight boots for both hiking & outdoor work. I really wanted mostly leather & waterproof, so these are great. It has been a wet spring here & they really kept my feet dry.

I'm still breaking these boots in, so I didn't give them an excellent on comfort. I have a routine morning walk that takes me through several areas with long wet grass (from dew). I wore these boots for the first time today on that walk and am happy to report that my feet stayed dry. The fit is similar to other Columbia Boots that I own or have owned. They fit my feet quite well. I've walked about 8 miles in these boots so far and they are getting more and more comfortable.

Wore these out when it was decently rainy for a hike, kept dry the whole time, feet felt very comfortable throughout the whole five hour hike. Easy to clean off the mud afterwards too!

Bought these to replace my Philmont boots from 1996.. They are comfortable right out of the box. Did take a couple times of wear to loosen up a little. I cant wait to put some miles on these! I would definitely recommend measuring your foot with the provided guide. I usually buy a 12 and the chart recommended 11. The 11 fits perfectly!

I haven't had boots since I was a child and was living the life of soaked feet and discomfort every time it rained. I finally decided to buy some waterproof hiking boots because I love to hike and I hate wet feet. After I got used to the high ankle support that the boots offer, I really started enjoying these boots. No complaints to offer! And my feet are much happier now. :-)

Purchased these shoes for my husband for some an upcoming hiking trip and to also be used for yard work. He was very pleased with the quality and comfort of this shoe, especially its waterproof feature! Would definitely recommend these shoes!
