I bought these last week I have about 15 miles on them so far, they fit great and comfortable for my Fred flinstone feet. I always worry about not being wide enough, these are a great match for my wide feet. I have walked in water and haven't had any issues.

I love them. They are very comfortable. They only have 2 drawbacks: 1) They're a little clammy when the weather gets warmer, and 2) I thought the sole on my first pair wore out a little too quickly; but then, I wore them quite a lot....

I've been trying out hiking the past few months and have put some pretty good use into these boots. Bought a good pair of thick merino wool socks to go with them and have not been disappointed - super comfortable, very supportive and durable. Have gone over rocky terrain and up steep elevations and my feet never hurt after. Add in the waterproof factor for stream crossings - largest I've done is about 40 feet wide and not a drop came into the boot - and I couldn't be happier. Again I'm new to hiking so I haven't tried a lot of what's out there, but for a first-timer I don't think I could ask for anything more in quality and price. Strongly recommend!

I assumed when I bought my third pair of Columbia boots that they would be reasonably good. These turned out to be excellent. I generally buy these as a sort of "utility" boot to wear back and forth to work in bad weather and for snow shoveling. They are more than fit for the task. And I wear them for just about everything now. I have a wide foot, so fit is an issue for me. These were true to size and fit great. Lots of room in the toe box, and they lace up fairly snug. They are a bit stiff, but I expected that and they broke in quite quickly. In terms of actual performance out in the weather, they are great in rain, slush, snow, and that soppy wet snow we get in upstate New York that soaks everything. No matter how wet I have gotten them, my feet have stayed dry. The tread on the sole is hard enough to grip yet soft enough that I have no issues when things are a little icy. There is one down side. They don't "breathe" well. So consider your choice of socks well. I wore them to work one day with some extra thick wool socks, and my feet felt like they were slow-cooking. a thinner, moisture wicking sock is your best bet if you will have these on a long time or plan on doing a lot of walking in them. Also, while I like the look and the performance of the red laces, mine are already starting to show wear, and the white center is showing through in a few spots. Maybe a more paracord-like outer sleeve on the lace would be a good upgrade. Overall, this is a great all-purpose outdoor hiker. I expect they will last for quite a while with care. And I would happily buy them again, or whatever new boot Columbia comes up with in the future.

Shoes fit well, and seem to be fairly well made. This is my second pair as I wore out the first pair over a few years. I wouldn't call them waterproof, just water resistant, but I didn't buy them for being water proof. The treads work well and will lose the majority of mud they accumulate in a few steps after getting to more firm soil.

Excellent hard boot. I shopped online and expected them to be a bit softer. They are made of very hard leather, and have not become my primary shoes, but when I do want this kind of boots, they are excellent. Comfortable, warm, stable.

These boots are comfortable, waterproof, and most importantly durable. I have been wearing them nearly everyday since I got them almost 3 months ago, and the soles are still intact. They aren't breathable, but that's a simple solution.

These boots became necessary after I found the difference between waterproof and water resistant. They are comfortable and I have found I like to wear them more than just when it's raining. They were a great purchase.
