These boots were very comfortable to wear. I only ever wore regular sneaker socks and was dry and warm the entire time. They don’t have a ton of extra room in the foot area so I never went with a thicker sock. I liked the flex of them vs a stiffer boot material. I walked around in a bunch of snow in Colorado mountains and never had a problem. The fur in the shoe shaft is cozy. I would buy another pair. I wear between a shoe size of 7.5/8 and usually go with 8 for boots. Ordered the 8 for these as well.

Didn't disappoint!! I was searching online at all my favorite high-end department stores and ski shops for a white-family snow boot with fur detail. Appearance was my number one criteria since I am a Florida gal who really only gets wear snow boots on our few ski vacations during the year. These are the best looking pair that I saw out there for what I was looking for. They arrived today and I am just as in love with them in person. They are super comfy and will be PERFECT with winter whites, creams and everything else!! I usually wear an 8 1/2 to 9. I ordered the 8 1/2 and they fit comfortably perfect. If I had been planning on wearing thick wool socks along with these, the 9 probably would've been better...but I'm not...so all good. Although I chose these on appearance, I LOVE that they are cozy warm and waterproof so I think I will be wearing these a ton!

They are great boots! The sensation it is even better than walking with the Uggs because they hold feet much better and being so warm and waterproof it is a plus!!! I ordered 1/2 size bigger ( reading other reviews) an it was enough! Because you won’t need thermic socks, just regular socks if no you will feel too hot!! Great acquisition!!!!!

I hate to give these an unfavorable review because they look great plus feel very warm. I have a wide foot and thought that ordering a half size up would help as I planned to wear these with some warm socks. I live in upstate NY and needed a warm waterproof winter boot that looked stylish and not too clunky. I thought I had found my match. I am sorry to say I am returning them in hopes to exchange for a different brand with a wider toe box.

Excellent boot. They are so light and feel more like a sneaker. My feet were finally warm in this 0 degree NY winter. I had to size up a full size. They seem to run a full size small.

If you are looking for warmth, with the comfort of a sneaker rather than a heavily-structured winter boot, I definitely recommend this boot. I did go up one full size and they fit perfectly. I also struggle with a lot of boots not having a big enough toe box, but this boot is perfect.

Due to the other reviews that said these run small and order up, I ordered a 7.5 when I usually wear a 7 in all shoes and boots. It was good advice because they fit perfectly. I have a circulation problem and my feet are always cold, so when I decided to go to Alaska for the Iditarod Race I was freaked out about the cold. I researched jackets and boots and bought the highest warmth rated jacket and boots available. When the Sorels came they seemed cute and warm but super heavy and clunky, so I looked for a second pair of boots that I could wear in place of shoes in the airport and around town in Alaska when I was only out for short periods; that's what I bought these to do. I was blown away by the comfort. They feel like a cross between sneakers and bedroom slippers. They were comfortable immediately, but the thing that surprised me most was the warmth. I ended up wearing them every single day of the Alaska trip, even to the Iditarod, and my feet were totally warm. I found them to be just as warm as the heavy, clunky Sorels. I was absolutely amazed. And I got compliments on them every where I went. The newer model of this boot doesn't have laces, but the laces are what makes them really cute and warm because you can tighten the whole thing up so that it is the perfect fit. Because of the laces, this boot doesn't look like a wide heavy ill fitted winter boot, and it keeps all of the warm air in. I recently moved from upstate New York to Southern California, so I don't have a huge need for warm boots, but because these were so fantastic and because I know from experience how difficult it is to get a super warm AND super comfortable boot, I wanted a second pair so that I could keep them in the box tucked away in a closet for when these wear out. They are simply the best boots I have ever, ever worn in the cold!

I absolutely love these shoes. They're super comfy, really warm, and stylish. They provide just the right amount of support. They don't leave my feet sweaty. They are water and winter proof. Have this amazing sole that prevents slips in ice. I got these in green and they go with just about anything. Cannot say enough good things about these!

I usually wear a 6.5 in dress shoes and sandals and a 7 in sneakers and boots. I read the reviews and went with one size up. The size 8 fit perfectly on me. I also have wide feet. For reference, I wear the New Balance 577 training shoe in wide width and they fit comfortably. The width was perfect in the size 8 Columbia Heavenly Omni-Heat. It's currently 15 degrees here in Massachusetts and my feet were toasty and warm in this New England weather. This shoe really does feel like a sneaker. I felt like I could've ran a mile comfortably in them. On top of the wide feet, I also have large athletic calves. My calves never feel strangled in these boots. I plan on wearing these boots for several winters!

I love these boots! They are so light for winter boots while also being incredibly warm! When I put these on, wearing smartwool ski socks (so you can estimate the thickness- not my thickest socks but typical winter socks for me in Maine) they initially felt a little snug, but after about 5 minutes they just molded onto my feet. I normally wear a 7 and ordered a 7.5. If you want a less snug fit, ordering a full size up would not be a bad idea but I think that half a size up is comfortable for me. I have to add that these boots are also really cute in a sporty way and not at all bulky!

Let me start this review by saying I ordered several low temperature rated boots before finally deciding on this one, thank you Zappos for your easy/free returns! I tried the Ugg Adirondack Tall boots (footbed felt too tight and small) , Sorel Joan of Arctic (heavy, bulky and didn't like that fur didn't go all the way around to the front) and the Columbia Ice Maiden. 2nd Choice would have been the Columbia Ice Maiden. All of them I orderd a full size up for bigger socks and because I've read if boots are tight no matter how warm they are your feet will get cold. Both Columbia boots had stellar reviews so it truly was a hard decision, but the soft flexibility of these won me over and I liked the look a bit better, slightly taller and different color fur than boot. They are super comfortable which is important as I am only bringing these shoes for a 2.5 week trip to Lapland. I can't yet judge the temp rating as I live in Atlanta, but am hoping based on reviews warmth will not be an issue in -F temps.

I had high hopes for these shoes based on the reviews. I ordered up (I'm between a 9 and 9 1/2 so ordered a 10). When they arrived I was very happy with how they looked and how lightweight and flexible they felt in my hands. Then I tried them on and was really bummed. They felt too narrow and my heel slipped. Then I realized I was wearing really thick socks, so I changed. Thinner socks helped but still, i was pretty sure I would be returning these shoes and trying a different style, but I decided to wear them around the house for a while. After 20 minutes they suddenly felt great. I loved them. It was a bitterly cold day and I took the dog for a walk. I felt like I was wearing comfy sneakers but also, my feet were very, very warm. Traction was great on icy spots on the sidewalk. I wore them again last night to a school event and they were perfect. So, if you buy these shoes and aren't sure about them, walk around inside for a half hour and then decide. I am so glad I gave them a chance. They do slip in the heel a tiny bit, but not enough to be uncomfortable.

I have had a shorter version of these for 3 years, and love them. They just started leaking however and absorbing water, so I needed new ones. These are taller for our deep snow here in eastern WA , and are super warm, comfy and have great tread to keep me from slipping. They are even ok on ice and compact snow. Better than other boots I've had. I think it's the flexible rubber. They feel like sneakers, which is good because I walk my rambunctious 9 month old puppy every day no matter the weather. Zappos customer service is unmatched as is its quick, reliable shipping. I love how they let you make exchanges before receiving the return!!! Thanks Zappos. Now I can walk my pup in the freezing cold without my toes and legs freezing!!!!

I've been meaning to write this review for months since the cold and snowy weather came in November. These are truly the BEST BOOTS I have ever owned as an adult. They are so comfortable and feel like the warmest sneakers you can imagine; I have to walk 20-30 minutes back and forth to work and these are a dream. They are waterproof, wearable in deep snow, good looking, and low maintenance. In all likelihood, I'll buy another pair when they next go on sale to have on hand whenever these puppies eventually need replacing. I've convinced two other friends to buy them as well and they are equally thrilled!

The boots keep your feet extra warm. If your foot is borderline for sizing, order the next half size up for wearing with thicker socks. I use thin socks so they fit me perfectly. I used them in very icy weather where walking was treacherous and didn't have as much as a problem as others. They grip really well on the ice (but still be careful!). The look is very nice and I am very happy with them. I highly recommend for snowy/icy weather. I did not add any product to the outside and my feet were not wet from snow or rain. If your feet are always ice cold like mine - THESE are the boots for you.

I loved how these boots looked but they didn't fit. They run a half size small, which is not a big deal, just order a larger size. But they have a narrow toe box and the vertical space for your foot is limited. My foot felt compressed in the boot both on the sides because the boot is narrow, and across the top. I tried loosening the laces significantly to see if that allowed more room but it didn't work. The footbed is super comfortable which is a plus. But overall the boot is too tight in too many places.

Love these red boots! They're super warm and comfortable. They feel really light as well. But I definitely recommend sizing up. I'm an 8.5 is most shoes and occasionally size 8 on more oversized shoes. Ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly snug. No room for thick socks, that's for sure. But I'm keeping them as I don't feel I'll need thick socks because they're so toasty. I bought these for an upcoming trip to Colorado. I'm a Texas girl, so I definitely will need some warmth lol

I usually fit between a 7.5 to 8 size shoes. I purchased a size 8 and it feels a little snug. I’m hoping over time it will open up more in the toe area like how my previous snow boots have in the past. I do love how light weight they are! Especially being snow boots, amazing!

Too tight across the top of my foot (a problem I hardly ever have, fwiw) and zero support. Will be returning.

I am a fashionista but decided that NOT FALLING was a priority this year so I ordered 5 different SNOW BOOTS. Most were disappointingly bottom-heavy and wide above the ankle, not suitable for walking or driving!! THESE were super comfy OUT OF THE BOX. They are warm without being oppressive, divinely lightweight, and pretty cute. I tried them on and KEPT THEM ON for the rest of the day, even though temps were in 50s! Like the others said, these are KEEPERS!!

Glad I listened to other reviewers and went up a half size. My normal size would definitely have been too small. A half size larger is still a bit snug but I expect that with continued wear that won’t be an issue. These are super comfortable and very warm. I love the light gray color and got compliments the first time I wore them outside of the house! Love!

I bought these for two reasons: 1) to wear while running errands in the winter in Ohio and 2) to wear hiking outdoors in the winter for my son’s co-op. Warmth: These kept my feet toasty warm with just regular socks while running errands even in sub-freezing temps. I also wore them for 4+ hours while outside in sub-freezing for my son’s co-op and thought they were really warm (I paired them with smart wool socks and wore foot warmers for my toes). Comfort: These are very comfortable to walk in and very light weight. I also have a pair of Boggs boots and Sperry duck boots for winter, and found the Columbia boots much more comfortable to walk in. I sized up a half size more than what I wear for running shoes, which was fine with regular socks. They were a little tight across the top of my foot with two pairs of socks and foot warmers (but I expected that). They do have a little give in the material to stretch over time, I think. Dry: I haven’t worn them in deep snow, but in packed snow or light snow they are definitely waterproof. The tongue is gusseted to the ankle, so anything deeper than that might sneak in. But I liked that they lace and I can adjust the tightness from the toes all the way to the top. Traction: I felt comfortable walking on snowy (with some ice) trails and hills. Look: I love the faux fur at the top. It’s cute but not so much that it makes my calves look thicker like some other brands. They also hit at just the right spot on my calf—not too low, not too high. They are also easy to loosen/tighten with the laces and get in and out of. Overall these are great winter boots and I’m really glad I purchased them!

Fit was great! Was able to wear thick wool socks when I was out in the snow a long time. They are super warm, comfortable and are really waterproof!!

definitely heavenly boots !!! love them!!! I wear an 8 ... purchased an 81/2... good fit... Lighter than air... like walking barefoot with great track shun!!!
