I've been buying these for years. Recently they got slightly longer. However, they last pretty well (not as durable as the hiking/running/walking socks) and wick well. They look good. I buy a few pairs per year and have about 10 pairs collected after all these years. I throw out one sock at a time as they get holes. Since I have so many pairs at varying ages, I always have matches. These are my favorite socks - not too hea vy or thick for dress shoes, warm, yet cool and wicking, and hold up well over time.

OK, I'm not a winter Olympian or Alaskan hermit or anything. I wanted to try these because when my feet sweat (which happens with just regular activity, like working), they start to stink! Baby powder in my shoes doesn't cut it. The wool in these socks absorbs moisture, and it really prevents my feet from getting stinky. Also, I was worried they would make my feet too hot, but that isn't the case at all. So far, they are holding up well in the regular washer and dryer. I am back to order some more.

I have a few pairs of Smartwool socks. These are one of their thinner pairs which means you can wear them with regular shoes. They are well made not itchy.

I have worn these socks for many, many years. I think they are wonderful and could not get through the winter without them. I had some that were beginning to get thin in the heel and hoped I could still find them. I was so relieved to find them in a search at Zappos. The amazing thing about these socks is that they keep you warm in cold weather, but never seem to feel hot or uncomfortable if it warms up. They are amazing. They are a lightweight, comfortable, washable wool cable that will fit into your shoe and not feel heavy or tight. They are expensive, but well worth the money. I hope they will always be available.

The material is comfortable and warm, they fit my size 9 feet well, and they are not too thin/not too thick.Great socks!

I love Smartwool socks! Even though I would prefer to pay less for a pair of socks, I have not found any other brand that is as comfortable as these. I spend most of my day on my feet, and the difference is noticeable. I wear a 9.5 and the sizing is accurate, you would need the large if you wore a size 10 shoe..

I bought these for my wife for fun. They are too tall for her work-out outfit, but great when it's cold and she is wearing her muck boots. SMART WOOL socks last and last!

I wear these socks almost every day in the winter. They keep my feet warm. I had to replace two old pairs from 4 to 5 years ago (mine finally wore through the heal). I hope these ones last just as long. I love how they are not tight in the ankle and fit the foot perfectly. I love the style as well. Keep them out of the drier to keep them looking good and not fuzzy. They are true to size I wear an 8 shoe and the mediums are perfect. I am forever grateful someone recomended them years ago. I will continue to be a regular wearer of this brand.

Unfortunately these socks kept sliding down which made my trip very uncomfortable. I got three pairs of Smartwool Cable and one pair of Experia Energy on my trip, and ended up wearing only Experia most of it, since Smartwool Cable just made me miserable when they was bunched down in my boots.

Comfy without bulk. I love them.

My first purchase of this style has been a great success! These socks keep my feet warm and cozy. The cables are knitted to be flat, not bulky, and my shoes fit over them easily and comfortably. They did not shrink after machine washing and drying, although they lost some softness.

Love the thin feature of these socks, but the heel and sometimes the toes wear out all too quickly while the rest of the sock is still great. Wish you could find a way to reinforce these areas.

So much better fit than any wool socks i ever owned. Such nice quality!

Smooth weave under foot. Higher percentage of merino than most other Smartwool socks now so they are soft.

These cable socks are one of my favorite things. I've been collecting them for years now, since I discovered them. They are nice enough for work and thin enough to wear in booties or heeled dressy shoes, but they are warm for those indoors-but-cold months.

Classic sock. Just as practical as can be, and fits in all my shoes. Can't imagine ever wearing non-wool socks again.

I have these in many colors. They are like regular everyday go to work go to school under your pants socks. I have 4 pair. The first pair I got a long time ago maybe 20 and it is still in regular drawer rotation. They don't wear out. These are the closest to the socks you already have. But still soooo comfortable. I bought my daughter 2 pairs of pink for Christmas, she likes pink. She says "mom these socks are soooo comfortable.
