Great coat. I own one several years old in red. Am adding a black one to my closet. Red one has had lots of wear and been washed, but still looks new.

This coat fits like it is tailored just for me. It is very lightweight, but keeps me nice & warm. I love my coat, I am pleasantly surprised at sow warm it keeps me. I am 5'2 and 134lbs, the medium fits me perfect!

I ordered this jacket December 2010 from Zappos. It my go to jacket, it's perfect! I have washed it numerous times and it still looks new. The comfort in unparalleled to anything I've ever had. It's not thick movement is no problem. It keeps me warm and seems to adjust to any temperature. It's comfortable to wear in the car, I could go on and on. I'm 5' 6 1/2" tall and weigh 137 lbs. the small fits perfect. If you are on the fence about ordering this, jump over and order it. I'm thinking about getting a gray one now, for variety.

This jacket runs true to size and isn’t too bulky, but is very warm. It’s exactly what I was looking for!

Very nice fitting jacket. I tried numerous North Face jackets and coats on and this fit me the best.

Purchased this for an upcoming winter trip to NYC. I'm 5'2 and about 150 lbs and the medium fits perfectly. Plenty of room to wear layers underneath. I like that the coat doesn't look bulky unlike other down coats. I also like that the hood is detachable, and also how it's a little longer in the back. Prior to this purchase I was looking for a longer length coat, but being 5'2 I feel that parkas are a little too long for my liking but the length of this is perfect! Hits about mid thigh. Also love that it slightly cinches in at the waist. I can't comment on the warmth bc I haven't worn it yet but I think it will perform well! Looking forward to using it on my trip!

This was a comfortable jacket, the only drawback being that the sleeves were long and I didn't want to cuff them up. I liked that the hood was removable and the 2 way separating zipper was sturdy. I also ordered the Aconcagua Jacket II in "shiny fig" and absolutely fell in love with that color. I'll be keeping that jacket. Thank you Zappos for stocking jackets in XXL. Couldn't find my size in The North Face Store in Bethesda, MD.

This coat is wonderful, but it does run small as many North Face coats.

One thing this coat lacks is elastic at the cuff so snow can't get up in the sleeve area. Otherwise I'm happy. I'm between sizes. I'm 5'9 and 135. The medium sleeves hit right but I like my hands to be able to get upin the sleeve to warm up. I also wasn't comfortable in the driving position. The shoulders were tight which made the sleeves ride up and expose my wrists. I like to use my sleeve on the wheel until the car warms up. I chose the large which is a bit wider by 2 inches. I figure two inches isn't that noticeable for a correct fit.

I got this in gray. Im 5' tall but round with smaller waist but larger hips round and wear an XL which can sometimes be a disaster with arms like King Kong. This fit me perfect! Arms are perfect somehow and it s magically fits me in all the right places. Very flattering . Can't wait to wear it in the mountains of Northern AZ!

I can't say enough how much I love this coat and how I wish I had purchased it sooner! I bought this coat to replace an old and well worn winter coat that no longer fit me so well and I really wish I had bought it earlier in the winter season. It's super lightweight, warm and fits really well. I fit between medium and large, depending on the fit of the TNF jacket/coat and I went with a medium on this one. I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs and this fits perfect. Also, for a winter coat, it's pretty stylish and the hood isn't too bulky. Definitely a must buy!!

I bought an off white north face 600 down jacket seven years ago and absolutely love it. It washes and dries well but after seven years I felt I needed a new one. The jacket I ordered, shown above, is the closest I could find to the one I had, and still have. I love it too! Super comfortable, fits perfect, keeps me warm in even extreme weather! North Face is the best!

Visited my daughter in Colorado. Had a heavy wet snow. Walked around Vail and stayed dry and warm.

I'm 5'2", 125lbs and purchased the S which fits perfectly. The length is just right and fell just under my bum which I wanted. The zipper portion doesn't pucker up when you're sitting down. I purchased this parka and the Nuptse parka. The Nuptse was too fluffy and I felt restricted in movement. I also did not like that the hood did not detach. This parka is perfect. It's low profile, seaming in the front, tapered back bottom and detachable hood made this the absolute perfect jacket for watching my kids outdoor sporting events. It's very warm and protects against the wind. Thinking of buying this in the grey also!

I walk outside and this keeps me warm and comfortable!

I live in North Florida. It's been an usually cold winter. I bought this for cold mornings and evenings and some trips north. It is super lightweight so when it gets warmer doing the day, I can take it off and carry it around. I love it and would definitely recommend to others.

I am always in between medium and large, I like room for a sweater. Large is a little big, maybe the medium would have been better. Could be a little more fitted. It had a nice shape, not a box. I am 5' 8" 135lbs. Long arms

This is a wonderful jacket, light weight, well made and warm. I feel stylish in this jacket wether in morning walks or running errands. I used the app feature to find my size and it fits perfectly.
