Purchased two pairs (6yr old and 3yr old). I ordered 1 size up from their regular size only to allow room for thicker socks and in hopes they won't outgrow them too quickly. Wore them in the snow yesterday and kept their feet dry and warm. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought these boots for my three year old son and we live in Chicago. They fit true to size and are light weight (compared to other Sorel's), which is important for the little ones. My favorite thing about them is how easy they go on and off. My son doesn't know how to put on shoes yet, but he was able to step into the boot and intuitively understood to just pull the velcro strap tight. Because the strap is long, there is no feeding of the strap through a hole or anything, so all that is required is to pull tight and match up the velcro. Lastly, the ankle offers good movement which allows for ankle flexion, which for a three year old is a must when you're playing in Chicago snow.

Bought these for my son...he loves the style, but more importantly, they are warm and comfortable.

Love these boots! Bought them for my eight year old son and he loves them. Very good quality, we haven't had too much snow yet this season, but he has worn them to and from school and they are great. Nicely insulated with an extra seems to be wool lining, cinch at the top and can tighten with the Velcro strap to make them as snug or as loose as you would like. I will be buying my daughter these in girls!

Bought these as a gift for a little 6 year old friend of the family- he loves them! We haven't had much snow yet in SW Colorado but he's worn them in snow. He said they keep his feet dry and they didn't feel as clunky to walk in as the pair of snow boot he had last winter. His mom said she likes the liner in the boot and the band above the ankle as it helps to keep the boot in place instead of his heel sliding in the boot when he walks. The mom and her son like them so much I think I may buy a pair for his younger sister.

My son loves his new boots. We gave them to him for his birthday and he couldn't wait for the snow so that he could wear them. They seem to fit well and keep his feet dry. I'll need to spray them with some waterproofing through the cloth. I'll be interested to see how they clean up though the first time they get covered in mud.

This is the second pair of these boots my son has had. The first pair were a hand me down from a friend and when my son outgrew that pair I immediately ordered the same boot in the new size. Durable (the hand me down pair lasted my son 2 years) and very warm with the felted wool inserts, that can also be removed for drying out.

So happy with this boot for our 4yr old son. It's light weight, easy for him to get on and off by himself, and the sole is fairly flexible so he's not clomping around when he runs in them.

We live in Minnesota, so good outerwear is important to us. I have bought several pair of this style of Sorel now for my 3 children and we have been very happy overall. These boots are easy for the kids to get on and off, and are probably the best you can do to keep their feet warm and dry.

Finally a snow boot to fit an older child with a wide foot. I ordered one size up and he has plenty of room to grow. Removed one star because the are a little heavier than his old boots.

I ordered them as snowboots for both my daughters. One wears an 8.5c and the other a 5y. I had to send them back and changed the sizes to a 10c and a 6y. The 6 just made it. If it were one of our girls I would say maybe their feet grew but both of then are 1.5 sizes off. It just runs exceptionally small.

Nice boot but I had to return because the 7 was big and the 6.5 was small. My son wears a 7 sneaker and the 7 boot was very big

Kept my son’s feet dry and warm all day in the snow.

These don’t hold up as long as I would expect given the price. Didn’t make it through a whole season before getting holes in the sole of the heels and leaking.

I really liked these boots but after wearing them a couple of times it rubs really bad on the back of my ankle. I thought maybe I needed to break them in some but it seems to happen every time I wear them.
