I feel this was not north face quality

This is advertised as measuring 26 inches in the size small but that includes the stand up collar. From shoulder to the bottom of the jacket it is only 23.5 inches. I was hoping this was an updated style keeping with the longer jacket trend but this is not the case. Also, the picture makes it appear somewhat fitted and flattering but it is boxy with no shape at all. I am not able to upload the photo with the measuring stick to illustrate.

Terrible quality. The material pulls after just days of wearing.

I'm surprised by all of the positive reviews. My fleece began pilling the first time I wore it and has gotten worse with each wear. It has been lightly used and not at all abused so I'm surprised and disappointed with the quality of the fabric. I feel embarrassed to wear it outdoors it looks that bad.
