I used the size finder and when it said what size I was I didnt listen, thinking I couldn't be that size. Well when I got the coat in the mail, it was too small. Listen to their size finder!

Size up. I sized up one size already and look like a darn marshmallow in it. There is no give either. The zipper also had some issues going up

The fit on this jacket is odd and I can't explain why, but it does not fit me as well as my other NF jackets. However, it has great warmth for chilly weather.

I think that this jacket should be available in larger sizes and not just a 2x since some women are built different than others in some areas.

This is a very nice jacket with very stiff, uncomfortable underarm zippers. It is fine when they are open but this does not fit how I would utilize this jacket most of the time.

Medium size fits good but has bigger sleves. Small size has correct fit sleeves but goes tight on tummy. If small size would have been a little bit space in the tummy region. It would have best fit for people with a bit of tummy.

The zipper does not work

There was only one jacket in size small at the North Face store. It fit nicely, but the zipper was a bit of a hassle to work. The medium worked alright, so I ordered one to be shipped to me. My new jacket's zipper is also hard to get working. Sigh. The quality of this item leaves a lot to be desired for the price.

I'm usually wear a 2xl but the 3xl doesn't even fit. I love the coat and the fabric but I can't wear it because there isn't a big enough one for me. I wish they had bigger sizes. I would buy a few items if they were big enough for me to wear. I live in Michigan so this would be great to have in the winter time. They should have plus sizes

This jacket ran small- I'm always a medium/large and the large was too tight around the midsection. Didn't feel roomy enough to layer clothes under. Returned.

Loved the style and look of the jacket. Bought as a gift for my daughter. Thought everything was fine she went to wear it today and noticed the zipper teeth are raised in one spot therefore the jacket will not unzip to wear. I would like to exchange it for another jacket with a working zipper. Let me know how to go about doing that.

Received this jacket as a Christmas gift and the zipper on the pocket broke the second time I wore the jacket. The zipper separated from one side of teeth and could not be put back on, so I had to spend my own money to ship the jacket to TNF warranty department. Now I get to wait 6 weeks during the coldest months of the year, the time of year I wanted to use the jacket, while the jacket is repaired. I bought a previous version of the Shelbe jacket 10 years ago and the zippers on that jacket broke in the same way, though it took a year for that to happen on the old jacket. It's a shame because it is a beautiful and warm jacket. TNF, please use better quality zippers on your clothing!

Did not fit well

Not sure what's going on w/north face lately but everything seems to be smaller/weird material. normally an xl, sized up and it was super long, including the sleeves, yet big on waste/tight on chestd

Very tight on me. I had to return it and size up

She doesn't like the foy or the texture of the material.

I wish they had more accurate sizing. I like the coat but its too small.

I purchased this jacket because my daughter had it. I took the style number off her jacket and went on line to buy it for myself from a Sporting Place. When the jacket arrived the outer shell was different material than hers. I then went on line to the Northface website and ordered the exact style number and name of the coat. When it arrived it had again a different outer material than my daughters. I found out that inside the side part of the jacket there is a small tag that says SP in my daughters jacket and FL for mine. This means one was made in the spring and the other in the fall. I would suggest to Northface that when you change the material that you also change either the name or style number.

Not comfortable

I ordered and returned 3 jackets. I typically wear a small but had to order up to a medium, which was too small. I then tried a different style in medium but it too was too small. I searched for larges but came up empty in almost all the styles I liked. And those that I did find were in very drab/ugly colors. Is the pandemic affecting the stocking of large sizes? I was disappointed not to be able to find a jacket I liked and that fit so I gave up. Maybe I'll try again some day.

Loved the color but the sizing was off! Fits small and the sleeves are long!

Tight through the shoulders

Runs small. I am usually a large. Way too tight.

This is the poorest fitting NF coat I have ever owned. I should have kept the tags on but was fooled by the fleece. I have worn it 3 times and dislike it more with every wear. This coat hits mid-butt, at the most unflattering point possible. There is no "taper" in this coat- it widens WIDELY at the bottom. I am tall and lean. The pockets are deep but poof out the already oversized front of the coat. The shoulders and back are narrow and short; all of the material in this coat is in the chest and stomach areas. The hood is deep but short. If you use the hood, it pulls up the already short back of the coat. There is no interior or exterior "key" pocket, and the wrist cuffs are pointless. They are too short to pull across the hand and lack a thumbhole, rendering them useless. I have never owned a coat that seems to have a "drop front" instead of a drop back and is so poorly designed and lacks any sort of "fit" whatsoever.
