Great for keeping that cold bite out. Nice length. Cozy pockets.

Wanted a new versatile soft shell jacket and this one has exceeded my expectations. It isn't bulky and keeps me warmer than my current in-between fall winter season down jacket. The wind doesn't get through and neither does the chill while I'm waiting for my car to warm up. Love it! Can't wait to try it for skiing. Only downside I've found is the zipper does not run smoothly and catches going up and down.

Bought this jacket on a Black Friday special for daughter who is very picky . She really likes the fit and color just thought it would be a little warmer! Otherwise it's perfect!!!

My new home sits at 2300 ft, and we've experienced an early winter! Since it was finally a necessity for me, I decided to splurge on my very first TNF jacket during the Black Friday sale. I can absolutely see what all the hype is about. The fleece in this jacket is lined throughout, soft, and thick without being too thick. I didn't realize the fleece would be visible on the collar area, but it isn't super noticeable. Overall, I love what it's done for me so far! Perfect for cold mornings while I'm heading to work, and cold evenings on my way home. Slim enough to keep on inside the grocery store or running errands! I will definitely be purchasing different styles for my weather needs in the future!

This is a great jacket and I have owned about 4 over them over the years. My original one was purchased about 5+ years ago and it has been redesigned a multitude of times. That being said, each redesign has been an improvement on the last. I can wear this coat well into 35 degree weather before switching to my triclimate jacket. The sleeves are better designed this time as one continuous sleeve and not cuffed like my old 5yr old version. It allows it to look a bit more streamlined and put together. The original jacket had a tapered first but was more relaxed. This one is fitted nicely with the seams placed better. I think it is far more flattering now but might be a deal breaker for those looking for a less fitted look. Then I would suggest sizing up. But I purchased it in the same size I had and I'm happy with it. Both the new and 5+ yr old version of this coat are weighted the same which is great since I always fear a drop in quality as time goes on. The only negatives I have about the new design is that "TNF Black" must have changed. My original coat is a dark jet black with this new one being more a grey/black. That was a bit disappointing as i purchased a triclimate coat at the same time and that is indeed TNF black. I looked at others reviews pictures though and it seems to just be true of this jacket. Also I have last years version of this jacket as well in purple and for some reason this year the logos are just silk screened on instead of embroidered. I know it's not a big deal but come on north face. ...Why would you skimp on such a simple thing that makes your product seem more luxe. The silk screening logo just makes it feel less special. Overall I'd still buy this jacket again as it is one of my favorites that I wear often.

I had purchased this jacket after my own shelbe jacket was stolen. I had last years model (2018) and it was my favorite. This hoodie is a lot thinner and the material is thinner. This also has an iron on logo vs last years where it was embroidered on. The hood is attatched and I loved how the older one has a good but the neck was free. It's still a very good jacket but there's so many different changes that made me prefer the older one.

I bought this jacket in the Windmill Blue. This is not a color I would have chosen normally, but most of the others were sold out in my size. That said, it is a beautiful blue, a cross between aqua and sky blue. I don't think it is quite as warm as the Denali it is replacing. However, it blocks wind better than anything I own. It is big enough for me to wear layers under, which was great with the early cold snap we just had. TNF, please expand your selection in plus sizes, especially 3X. I marked this as "too small" because I am a 2x in absolutely everything else I own. I wish you would size items to be more true to size with other clothing.

Nice coat for cold days. It's not too thick and bulky for the warmth, but some darts at the waist would be flattering.

Runs a little tight on chest. Length is a little short. Rest of the fitting and comfort is great. Love the inner lining. Have not washed the jacket as yet to give any feedback on material quality.

I absolutely love this jacket. It is perfect for the fall and spring weather, it's not too heavy but still keeps me warm. My only complaint is the fit. I originally tried on a medium which fit me in all areas except my arms. I don't have abnormally fat arms they are 9 inches around at the top if that helps someone. So I had to go a size up if I wanted to wear any heavy sweaters under my jacket. The large is very unflattering on me and doesn't fit me well. But once again it keeps me warm which is most important.

Great quality and warm with nice weight, but too big for me even though I used the fit predictor.

I bought this for cross country skiing but have not used it for that yet. I'm sure it will be perfect though because I have worn it on a very cold and windy day. I love everything about it but think the sleeves should be lined differently so it's easier to get on and off with sweater.

I have a large chest so I really should have gotten a extra large so I can wear more layers but that would have left my arms way long. If I do wear thick clothing it can be a bit restrictive. It is in the twenties today and it keeps me warm. Would have loved some thumb holes and inside pockets. The color is great, the softness of the inside and out is wonderful. I love the high neck and tailored look is really nice.

I am 5'4 and 115 lbs and ordered a size medium. I could have sized down for sure. However, the medium allows room for sweatshirts or fleece underneath. Very windproof and soft on the inside.

Great for everyday use and hiking in cool and damp conditions. Not waterproof, but not billed as such. I like the warm lining. Good for travel also, although it's not the smallest jacket to pack -- more medium than lightweight.

I've been looking for a comfy, hooded soft shell again since I lost my last one and finally found one I wanted to keep!! The soft shell is super comfy, stretchy, and soft. The fleece liner is really nice and soft and feels kind of luxurious when still being casual. The back is a good length, covers my rear without feeling like a dress. I have a broad chest and shoulders and this doesn't make me feel confined at all. It seems warm and does pretty well in rain and wind so far although I haven't thrown full blown winter and heavy rains at it yet. Seems well made. I haven't washed it yet so not sure how it will hold up there. Love the arm cuffs and hood! Things I miss from other jackets be owned that could make it even better are a zip chest pocket, inner pocket, and thumb holes. Overall great cost and I'd get again!

I liked this product! Just know that it is a bit longer than usual jackets, which was fine with me because I had been wanting a longer jacket anyway! It adds style of course. I do notice the collar part is not as tight on my neck which in the cold I don't like, but if you're a woman, you do not get it as dirty with makeup! Overall, I recommend the jacket.
