This jacket is amazing. It is so warm and lightweight when on. It does feel heavy when holding but once on it does not. It keeps you warm without restricting movement. I bought this jacket for my daughter and loved it so much had to get one for myself.

The sleeves are too long and constantly get in the way and the double zipper is unnecessary and just makes putting this jacket on difficult, but that's the only bad thing I can say about it. I'm only 5'4" tall so the sleeve length may not be an issue for you. Wearing it out in cold weather, I don't complain about it. It's only an issue when I am trying to do something before I take it off when I come inside or right before I leave for the day. I had the Denali jacket before this one- you know, the one with the fleece that EVERYONE wears. It is a really awesome jacket and it's super warm, but the fleece and dog hair do not go together... This one is not quite as warm, but completely stops wind in its tracks so it's comparable- especially here in the plains where the cold usually is due to the wind chill. The hood is nice to have even if it will rarely be used. I bought the black one and it looks very sleek on and isn't too flashy since the logo isn't white on black. It's shiny black on black instead. So far it doesn't collect dog hair or dirt and it's warm enough for northeastern Oklahoma winters (we haven't had snow yet to check that part but it seems like your legs would be the part to worry about wearing this jacket). It's also lightweight enough that it shouldn't be too hot for fall and spring weather here. I would guess that this jacket would work alone without any long sleeves underneath for about 36 degrees to about 60 degrees. With a warm long sleeve shirt underneath, you'll be okay to probably about 15 degrees. Those are estimates for short periods of time outside. If you're wearing it hiking, you might want to wear something heavier if the weather is below 40 degrees. (I'm measuring in Fahrenheit by the way) That was my top question buying this so hopefully that will help you too. I am wearing this as my daily just to get me between the car and work and the house and mailbox etc.

I received this jacket from my husband for Christmas and instantly fell in love. Its light weight yet very warm. The fleece lining is super soft and cozy.

Use it as an everyday jacket.

My son purchased this for me for Christmas. We had a cool, very windy day, with pouring rain in early January. (Perfect conditions to test out my new jacket!) It was unbelievable!!! We all watched in awe as the rain just beaded off the jacket, my hood stayed in place despite the wind, and I was warm and dry. This is a MUST HAVE to add to everyone's outerwear wardrobe!!

This jacket is super cozy, fuzzy on the inside. It's pretty warm, but I'm a cold person so I'm generally wearing a jacket at 60 degrees. I like that it's longer so you don't get any cold draft between your jacket and your pants! Pockets are a good size, I can actually fit something in there. It's an easy grab and go situation. Will be great for camping and hiking.

I wear this for everything. I do live in Texas so it's not quite as cold here as it is other places but I love it. It has held up against rain and the cold weather so far. I love the lining and warmth. It's well made.

I love the color, the weight of it and the flexibility it has. Great buy! Fits true to sizero and long enough so when you lift your arms up your jacket still covers everything below the bellybutton.

I love this jacket. It's one of my new favorite jacket. It's so warm and comfortable. You can dress it up and dress it down. So I just wear it all the time for ever occasion.

This kept me incredibly warm. I didn't wear many layers just this jacket and my regularly coat($30 coat) in Iceland and I'd get hot from time to time. It's windproof and the inside is sooo soft. It sucks when you start to sweat in it but I'll take that over being cold. It's got a sporty look. I love love love this jacket

If your between sizes, go with the larger size. Warm, soft inside. Very nice jacket.
