Perfect coat for winter in the south. The hi-loft fleece interior and the lower tail was what sold me on the jacket. The hood is a bit shallow, but it's nice to have when I don't have a beanie with me. I'm usually a small, but I chose the x-small because it was more flattering. If you need to layer thicker sweaters, definitely go with your true size. I haven't experienced any trouble with the zipper as other reviewers have mentioned.

I ABSOULUTLY ADORE THIS JACKET!!! You can really wear it anywhere! It keeps your VERY warm! Perfect for west Michigan weather!!!

I love It!! Live in New Hampshire and even when it was -3 last week it kept me warm. Not too bulky, I have an other ski jacket for outdoor play with the kids but this is great for all the other times when you want to be warm but not too bulky. So glad I got it, I debated about going up a size due to reviews but stuck with my usual and it fit fine.

Love it! Warm and not stiff like many jackets of this style. Perfect with or without layers under.

Loving this jacket so much! I needed a new daily jacket to wear during the San Francisco winter, and this has been perfect! I love the longer length, great for my 6' frame. I wish the hood was bigger, that's about it. A helmet-compatible hood version of this would be PERFECT!

New FAVORITE coat!! So soft inside and keeps you warm without the bulk. Wore to a windy soccer game and it did a great job!! True to size and flattering shaped fit.

Now that the weather is getting colder, I am wearing this almost everyday. Looks so nice, I even wearing it into the office, with business attire, or can wear it on the weekend with a pair of jeans.

I've never been to a North Face store much less owned a product until I was looking for a jacket for a trip to Iceland. This jacket was perfect for the trip. Comfortable and warm but not too bulky. It kept me dry and protected from the wind and rain. The whole trip I was continually thankful I had brought this jacket. Highly recommended.

It's a light weight jacket that provides such great warmth without feeling bulky! Very stylish for any age!!

I liked the quality and color of this jacket. What I didn't like are the knitted sleeve cuffs which would pill easily. I ordered a size small and it kept me warm but found it a little snug. So will order a medium instead.

I own at least 4 of this jacket. It's always been the absolute best - warm, comfortable, cozy, super soft, durable, decently wind & water resistant... The latest iteration does not live up to the standard set by all that came before it. The new cuffs are uncomfortable and itchy enough that I don't want to wear it, unlike every older one I own. It is noticeably smaller than previously purchased ones - this latest one in a size small fits about the same as one I bought about two years ago in an extra small, which completely defeats the purpose of buying a size up. (Note: they did this to their gloves, too) I loved this jacket so much, but I'm so unsatisfied with this latest one that I wish I could return it. I would recommend it with reservations and a recommendation to size up at this point.

Great quality & fits perfect!

I was happy with this jacket overall for its looks, warm lining, without being bulky. I bought the shelbe rashel coat in a longer length in small and that fit me fine. This small is too snug. Also don't like the knit cuffs which I fear will pill in no time. Liked the color also.
