Was looking for a fleece fall jacket I love it and would love it more if the fleece was on the outside. Overall it is still great, a size up is recommended.

TNF Shelby, Love the cuffs with lastest style. Having experience always order up 5'5 150lbs XL fits without being to baggy with room for layers. XL is very slimming. I'm looking forward to new colors. Tell you Shelby perfect for warm coat without to much warmth living in Florida or traveling back east fall foliage really covers all moderate temps around 40 & 50 degrees.

This jacket has a super soft lining. The exterior is a nice and smooth gives it a crisp look.

Bought this jacket for a trip to Alaska. Great jacket wth warm fleece lining. Don't need many layers with this jacket because of the weight. Runs a little small.

I love this jacket. I wore it on a 3 week outdoor trip to Alaska the end of April (it was still cold, especially on the boats in the Gulf of Alaska). I was a bit hesitant to buy it as some of the other reviews were negative saying it wasn't warm enough. It was perfect for my needs. I bought it as part of my clothing "layering" plan. I also brought along my new Marmot Echo featherlite puff jacket as I want sure which I would use. I wore the Marmot once & the Shelby Rachel jacket the other 20 days. I wore it over my Marmot Featherlite vest most of the time. It definitely is wrong & water resistant. However, when we were on the open boats I did wear my light North Face rain jacket over it for extra wind protection (rather than wearing a heavier jacket. I also wore the rain jacket over it in heavy rain since we were out in the elements all day & if I got wet, I would have been wet all day. I was always the least bundled up since this jacket was warm (but don't think it will be your solo winter jacket in Alaska or even Wisconsin where I grew up. I'm 5'3" & weigh 115 with broad shoulders. I bought a large, again, with the intent of layering. Fits me perfectly & doesn't look too big when I don't wear anything underneath it.

I wanted a warmer jacket that could withstand wind and some rain and this was exactly what I needed. I took it camping to Lake Tahoe on a whim and it was the perfect jacket for the brisk cold mornings and evenings that included some wind and light rain. I usually wear medium and that's what I got which fit perfectly.

I love my purchase. It's good quality! I don't find it to be heavy at all I'm 5'2 and 145lbs bought a medium and the fit was perfect. Will be wearing it on cooler days, nights and the fall season.
