Alright y'all, something possessed me to take a trip to Washington, D.C. in the 3rd week of January and as the date approached I realized that, given my extreme intolerance for anything mildly resembling a chill, I was going to need to INVEST if I hoped to survive. I was on the cusp of purchasing a tri-climate, but talked myself out of it because I live on the beach in South Texas, so I wasn't sure of how much use it would actually get. I found this ever so delightful Shelbe Raschel Hoodie and MAN, the reviews were passionately in favor of the notion that every woman on the planet ought to own this jacket and that their life is simply incomplete until they do. Soooo, peer pressure did it to me and I ordered a Small in Light Grey. FIRST OF ALL, I have yet to own any North Face product that did not feel as though it was worth every penny I paid for it, this jacket especially. Y'all want the dirty deets, though? Washington, D.C. saw a high of 15 degrees on MLK day 2019 with incredible winds making windchill -7. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I ever seen anything even NEAR -7, but this jacket fulfilled its duties and I will love it every day for the rest of my life because of it. I am 5'5", about 130 pounds, a little more full at the hips and a 34D. On that ice age of a day I layered a long sleeve tee, a sweater, and a pullover under this jacket and, while it was a hair snug, I was still comfortable. By no means do I believe this jacket is designed for those temperatures (hence the layering) but it undoubtedly blocked the 35 MPH wind gusts and kept me as warm as it possibly could, all things considered. Wearing it in high 20-low 40 degree temps was definitely its time to shine. I was SO cozy! With just a tee or even a light sweater, the fit is perfect and it looks outstanding. It is heavy enough to serve its purpose but not so heavy that it looks goofy with casual jeans/leggings. I'm running out of characters and it's yelling at me SO to wrap things up--buy this jacket, now.

I bought these jackets for the ladies at my office as a Christmas gift. They are awesome! The fit is slightly on the smaller side but otherwise absolutely no complaints.

I love this jacket. It's very warm and it looks great. I wear it mostly on cold or windy days. It even works for when the temperature drops to 25. Wind doesn't get through it at all so it's perfect for me.

Great for everyday use and hiking in cool and damp conditions. Not waterproof, but not billed as such. I like the warm lining. Good for travel also, although it's not the smallest jacket to pack -- more medium than lightweight.

I wear this jacket on cold, windy days. It's perfect. Keeps me warm and definitely wind proof.

I would use this product for winter wear. It's just great quality and I have had no bad experiences so far.

I've been looking for a comfy, hooded soft shell again since I lost my last one and finally found one I wanted to keep!! The soft shell is super comfy, stretchy, and soft. The fleece liner is really nice and soft and feels kind of luxurious when still being casual. The back is a good length, covers my rear without feeling like a dress. I have a broad chest and shoulders and this doesn't make me feel confined at all. It seems warm and does pretty well in rain and wind so far although I haven't thrown full blown winter and heavy rains at it yet. Seems well made. I haven't washed it yet so not sure how it will hold up there. Love the arm cuffs and hood! Things I miss from other jackets be owned that could make it even better are a zip chest pocket, inner pocket, and thumb holes. Overall great cost and I'd get again!

I have been looking for something like this for such a long time! The fit is body hugging but not too fitted, the inside layer is soft and warm, and the hood is a great addition!

This jacket is great! So warm and comfortable! Water resistant and has a good hood that covers your head. I believe it fits true to size but if you plan on wear a heavy sweater under it, the sleeves are a little On the tight side.

I liked this product! Just know that it is a bit longer than usual jackets, which was fine with me because I had been wanting a longer jacket anyway! It adds style of course. I do notice the collar part is not as tight on my neck which in the cold I don't like, but if you're a woman, you do not get it as dirty with makeup! Overall, I recommend the jacket.

Casual wear, cold weather. I received this for Christmas my mom ordered me a medium which the medium was a bit too big. Had to exchange it for a small. Small fits perfect I can ever wear a hoodie underneath not that I need too but that just shows how big it it. I'm 5'3" 130 pounds.

I purchased a small and it's true to size, however I like to layer my clothing and I can't with this jacket without looking bulky. I would size up if you like to layer. I am 5'4, 117 lbs, 32B and I got a small.

I had to size down with this style. I usually wear a medium in TNF, but when I got the medium it was way to big. Had to return and get the small. The small fits perfect. The lining in this jacket is so soft!
