Love this jacket! Cozy and fits well. Bought bigger to layer for colder days.

Love this jacket. It is a soft shell and lined but does not feel binding at all. Like that it is a little longer length without being unflattering. I usually wear an XL and some XXL but ordered this in the 3XL as I find North Face jackets to run on the small side and arms are generally small and become binding with a light sweater underneath. This jacket fits perfect by upsizing. Wish North face ran more true to size or had more options on the larger scale.

This is a great jacket and I have owned about 4 over them over the years. My original one was purchased about 5+ years ago and it has been redesigned a multitude of times. That being said, each redesign has been an improvement on the last. I can wear this coat well into 35 degree weather before switching to my triclimate jacket. The sleeves are better designed this time as one continuous sleeve and not cuffed like my old 5yr old version. It allows it to look a bit more streamlined and put together. The original jacket had a tapered first but was more relaxed. This one is fitted nicely with the seams placed better. I think it is far more flattering now but might be a deal breaker for those looking for a less fitted look. Then I would suggest sizing up. But I purchased it in the same size I had and I'm happy with it. Both the new and 5+ yr old version of this coat are weighted the same which is great since I always fear a drop in quality as time goes on. The only negatives I have about the new design is that "TNF Black" must have changed. My original coat is a dark jet black with this new one being more a grey/black. That was a bit disappointing as i purchased a triclimate coat at the same time and that is indeed TNF black. I looked at others reviews pictures though and it seems to just be true of this jacket. Also I have last years version of this jacket as well in purple and for some reason this year the logos are just silk screened on instead of embroidered. I know it's not a big deal but come on north face. ...Why would you skimp on such a simple thing that makes your product seem more luxe. The silk screening logo just makes it feel less special. Overall I'd still buy this jacket again as it is one of my favorites that I wear often.

My new home sits at 2300 ft, and we've experienced an early winter! Since it was finally a necessity for me, I decided to splurge on my very first TNF jacket during the Black Friday sale. I can absolutely see what all the hype is about. The fleece in this jacket is lined throughout, soft, and thick without being too thick. I didn't realize the fleece would be visible on the collar area, but it isn't super noticeable. Overall, I love what it's done for me so far! Perfect for cold mornings while I'm heading to work, and cold evenings on my way home. Slim enough to keep on inside the grocery store or running errands! I will definitely be purchasing different styles for my weather needs in the future!

This jacket has a super soft lining and a stretchy wind proof outer layer. It is lightweight, but cozy and warm! I wasn't sure how the plus size would fit as there's not a real solid size guide. I used the online chat function to ask a representative for comparable plus sizes and they were dead on the mark. It's a great jacket and appropriately priced!

I have worn the jacket regularly for going out day and night. Jacket is classy and the color is looking good on me. So far I have received good compliments from my friends and relatives. It keeps me warm at 48 F in San Francisco. I have not have not tested the jacket in cold else where.

I've had my eye on this jacket for a while, I've never had a softshell before. So glad it went on sale for Black Friday and I was able to snag it at a great price! It is so warm and has already come in handy during some rainy days. The windmill blue color is GORGEOUS!

I used the sizing guide and this jacket fits perfectly. I'm loving it!! These jackets normally run small but I'm one happy camper.

I'm a size 20 girl, so some xxl don't fit. This jacket in XXXL fits great, snug in the right places for a more fitted and tailored look. Love the soft material and the back hangs past my rear end (I'm 5'3). Overall very nice looking coat.

Very comfortable, flattering, and sooo warm! I love my triclimate jacket, but sometimes feel like the outer shell is too bulky for everyday use. This is heavy enough to keep me warm, without adding bulk

Tried this on at Dicks sporting goods & fell in LOVE! I have used the apex jacket for the last 5 years and always chose to wear a softer jacket underneath it & for added warmth! This jacket is the best of both worlds! The inside is so warm and cozy & the outside is like the apex material, i no longer have to wear a jacket underneath! They were sold out of the color i wanted at the store, so i ended up ordering online & for 45$ cheaper..holla thanks Black Friday deals and steals!!! I will forever recommend this jacket to everyone!

This is a great versatile jacket. It's warm while not being bulky. Great color selections. I have several North Face jackets and this is my new favorite!

My wife owned a NorthFace jacket. It was stolen... You don't know how good you have it until it's gone... Recently replaced her jacket with a better one. Definitely buying another one for myself and my daughters.

Everyday jacket ,keep you warm

Just got it today and wore it to walk my dog on a eindy day with light rain. I stayed warm and dry. No complaints.

This jacket is very warm in the low 30 degrees temperatures which is what I was expecting when purchasing it. I haven't tried it in much colder days so can't speak for that. The jacket is figure flattering which was the second reason I bought it, saw my sister wear it and I thought it looked great on her. I machine washed it and air dried.
