I bought this coat for everyday wear. There's not a clear photo online of the full inside lining of this coat, but if you view a lighter color option, you can see the furry/fuzzy lining inside of the hood in the photo-- the entire inside of the coat is lined with this fabric including the pockets! It is so soft, warm and cozy. The exterior fabric feels soft but water resistant and allows you to move freely. I am very happy with this purchase! The only thing I would tweak is the length- it's a little long on me and covers my entire bottom, but I am a shorter person, so I'm just thankful that the sleeves aren't too long. All in all, I'm very happy with the comfort and practicality of this jacket!

I love this jacket. I call it a jacket because I thought I was getting a winter coat. When it arrived, I thought it was super lightweight and was worried. I really wanted a winter coat. Although it is just now January and the lowest temps I've worn it in was 30's, it has been great. As long as I wear appropriate clothing underneath, it has been remarkably warm. It really stops the wind too. There is something about the material that just works. The inside feels amazing and it is so light to wear. It is also true to size. I usually wear an XL in coats. I wear L in shirts, but my shoulders require an XL in a coat and this fit like I hoped it would. It is the perfect addition to my coat collection.

Bought this coat for my significant other as she fell in love with her daughters. Easy online purchase direct from TNF, fast shipping. This particular large seemed alittle tight and customer service made it just as easy to exchange for 1 size up.

Casual wear a gift from my daughter, I wanted something that was warm and didn't make noise when you wear it. Everything I expected and more. Great fit.

Not sure about how this will hold up long term yet because I just received it. But it seems like great quality. It is so cozy and comfy and also looks very nice on the outside. I love this and would recommend to anyone!

Wear it for all events - warm and cool

The BEST coat ever! I bought this for my teenage daughter and I am so jealous. I'll definitely be borrowing this! It's so classic; the fit, the look, the feel! By far the softest and most versatile coat we have owned! I am seriously considering buying one for me now! Great Purchase would highly recommend I'm 5'6" and 165lbs and the XL fits great even over a sweater. If you are shorter or like a tighter fit the L would also work!

I would were this jacket anytime

I adore this product and cannot say enough positive things!! It is not only warm, but is still thin and fashionable. Well worth it for the price, I was even able to save 10% by shopping through the North Face site. GET THIS JACKET!

I wanted a lightweight, but warm coat for everyday wear, this jacket was perfect for me. North Face doesn't make too many larger size jackets for women (and I wish they did) so when I saw this, I immediately purchased it. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. This is my third North Face jacket that I have purchased and all three were very flattering on me, not to mention warm. And I got it on Cyber Monday at a great price.

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. It was on the top of her list and I'm thrilled I was able to get it for her. It's an awesome jacket!! I love that its wind resistant and able to repel water. I tried one on in the store and the material feels nice and of good quality. Very satisfied!! I'm considering buying on for myself!!

The pictures online do not give it justice. Looks classy but can be worn on any occasion. So soft and warm. When I saw it, it looked like it was great quality and once I held it I knew this was made out of great quality material. Super impressed and now I'm really wanting one for myself!
