I LOVE this jacket! It is bright and comfortable and perfect for cold days! I wore it on a 13,000' mountain in Colorado on a day that was frigid with very high wind. It kept me warm, and it did a great job of shielding the wind. You could wear it casually or for cold weather activities. I will wear mine year round - it also will be perfect for cold summer nights outside in the mountains. Although it isn't ultra-light, it isn't overly heavy, either. I have no complaints about the jacket at all.

I love all of my northface jackets but this one is especially stylish. The color is great it's lightweight and comfortable. I am always hesitant about ordering online with out seeing the product in person but the free return policy sold me on it.

I have had a light silver Aconcauga jacket and have loved it. I bought this in the steel grey, which is very close to black but muted. I love the color, cut and feel of this coat.
