I ordered a size up as I purchased this for outdoor cold weather activity and it was perfect. Enough room for a sweatshirt underneath but not too boxy I couldn't move.

I purchased this for my 14 year old daughter & she lives in it! She says it is the best & most comfortable jacket she has ever owned, I agree! It was true to size & fit.

Love this jacket, flattering design, comfortable, and thick enough to keep me warm! I am usually a medium in my north face fleeces but I got a large in this jacket and I'm glad I did. I wanted to be able to wear sweatshirts, etc. under this coat so going a size up was perfect!

Great jacket! Super warm, but does not feel bulky. I usually wear an XS, but bought this in a Small and it fits perfect.

I love this jacket - I spend most weekends in a hockey rink and it keeps me nice and warm. I normally wear a large - the large fits but is a little snug, especially over a sweatshirt.

Bought this jacket for my 20 year old daughter that she picked out for Christmas. I thought it was quite pricey but once it came (which was very quickly) I realized that it was well worth it. It is very warm, says my daughter & she loves it & she's worn it none stop since she got it. She looks very cute & stylish in it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something warm & cute!

I love the jacket, it is comfortable. I like the color it came in, because I'm a cancer survivor and the color pink is me. It gets cold in this area Maryland, and the jacket keeps my warm against the cold. And it love all of Northface products it is made to protect against coldest.

Nice warm basic puffy jacket. Much warmer than my down sweater. I love the way it fits. Exterior pockets are zip which is nice. I gave it only 3 stars because there isn't an interior zip pocket. Also, I've only had it 1,month and the tiny feathers are leaking out of the seams on the outside and some on the inside which is annoying when I wear a black shirt because there are tiny white feathers all over my shirt when I take the jacket off and when I wear it as an underlayer to my sky jacket (see photos). A problem I've had with another TNF down jacket I own. Thought it was because it was just old, but even this new one is already losing feathers so I'm a little disappointed because it's a nice looking jacket and warm.

This is actually my 3rd NF jacket and I was extremely disappointed. I usually purchase mine from the store but they didn't have my size so I ordered online. When I first opened the package I immediately noticed shedding. I didn't think much of it because I was so excited and I figured it would stop after awhile. Wrong. It got worse and the jacket looks very cheap up close. I started to see a different hole in the jacket every time I wore it. It also became very flemsy after washing it although I followed the wash recommendations. It's going in the trash at this point.

Hiking

I bought this jacket to wear on a four day, three night hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back. It really served me well. We hiked in March 6, 29 degrees at the South Kaibab Trailhead with snow on the trail. The jacket kept me snug and warm and also broke the wind as we hiked down the trail. It was super comfortable under my pack. Took it off at the second rest stop, rolled it up and put it in a stuff sack and added it to my pack. I wore it sleeping all three nights and was warm but not too hot. It looks stylish, not the Pilsbury doughboy look, but sleek and shaped for a woman. I'm a petite with a short torso and big bust, and this fits me fairly well. The jacket hits just below my hips, so not too long. The sleeves are a bit long, but stay up rather than flop down over my hands. I had a hard time finding a jacket that fits my size as most outdoor gear is sized for tall, slim, athletic builds. The jacket is well made and will now be my go to for cold weather hiking as well as out and about around town. I would recommend

My wife absolutely loves this jacket. She has some medical issues that make it hard for her to stay warm, and we've also had lots of rain this winter, so this has been a wonderful addition to her wardrobe. It fits well, it's water resistant, and it's easy for her to move around in. Anyone looking for a great winter coat...this is the jacket to get.
