It is perfectly warm but not too heavy to wear. I wore it skiing and it was ideal but I also plan to use it when the weather gets cold again. I really have received so many compliments on it.

I purchased this jacket for my daughter as a Christmas gift. I recalled her wanting a North Face jacket. My 28 year old daughter is 4'10 under 100 pounds and to find an adult looking jacket extra small is a feat in itself. I came across this particular jacket loved the color first and excited that they had her size and overjoyed of the price. She literally wears that jacket in the house and takes it off right before bed.
