I love the fact that these boots are ultra warm, but not ultra bulky, uncomfortable, or ugly. Many super-warm boots sacrifice style for function but Salomon has managed the best of both worlds with these. I live in Northern Ontario and purchased these primarily for winter biking, and so far they've been great. The fact that they aren't crazy bulky means they sit comfortably on my pedals, and I've gone for hour-long rides at -30C and my toes stayed toasty warm. Additionally, they have enough support and cushion to make them comfortable for hours of walking, and a grippy tread that allows confident footing in slippery conditions. If you like to get outside hiking or snowshoeing no matter the weather, these boots are for you.

Bought these for winter fat biking, snowshoeing, hiking & general winter wear. I've worn them in temps of 5 degrees with a -15 windchill with 1 pair of smart wool socks & my feet were very warm. I was out biking in these temps for about 2 hours. I've always struggled with keeping my feet warm & these boots have solved my problem. I bought a 1/2 size bigger & am glad I did. Even with smart wool socks I have plenty of room to move my toes around. They are wide enough to boot. Strongly recommend.

I purchased these boots mainly for fat tire biking. I have to say these boots are awesome, my feet don't get cold. I have been out in temperatures below zero and my feet stay warm. Love that fact the boots are not heavy.

I started using these last winter for sesrch and rescue, now my other team members are buying them for many reasons. They are beyond comfortable, my feet hsve remained toasty, they work great with snow shoes. They were on my feet when we found a man missing for two days in a winter storm...a four hour hike in and out in the Idaho back country.

These boots took me a little while to get used to as they are taller, stiffer, and bulkier than previous winter hiking boots but once I got used to them I have been really happy with them. I have Raynaud's syndrome so keeping my feet warm and dry when hiking in the winter is very important for me.

I bought these because I needed a pair of boots with good grip. The grip is ok...nothing special. They are very warm and reasonably light. They are very stiff boots and require some breaking in. The upper is very stiff and dug into my shins a lot. I wear a thick pair of socks and a base layer to protect my shins. The size is correct. I wear a 7.5 and bought that. It fits well. Lots of room in the toe box. Very well made and I can't see any obvious potential failure points. Overall I like them a lot. Great for winter hiking. You will he warm but prepare for the stiff uppers and break in period.

I bought this boot about a month ago and it does not disappoint. It has a nice stiff sole which is great for winter fat biking. I find the boot stays secure on the pedals. The boot has a nice rocker to it which allows for a natural gait. Like a hiking boot, it provides ankle support and is a bit higher to keep the snow from dropping in between steps. This boot is very warm which is great for folks like me who deal with cold feet. My only issue is the laces. They are slippery and will not stay tied unless you're doing the double knot trick.

Es ist ein super warmer Stiefel, wenn er passt aber wenn man einen hohen Rist hat tut der Stiefel weh, dann ist es gleich ob der Stiefel vorne oder hinten wehtut.

Havent done any true hiking with these yet- only complaint is the front of your calves could use more padding where the strings are- seems to get sore after a bit of walking/wearing- hopefully will lessen with more wear and tear- very happy with my purchase so far!

This is a great boot for people that have to work outside But !!!!! I am on my second pair which were covered under Salomon warranty but the seam at the toe box let's go and the boots are useless Working at Sunshine Village we need really good boots for our on mountain people and these work great until the seam opens up

I love how light and warm these are. And how they adjust to activity level, so my feet are never too sweaty in shoulder seasons. But I wore them only 2-3 times per week the last two winters, and I noticed the side seam nearest the toe box on the outside of each boot has separated. The white waterproof lining is visible! I took them to a professional cobbler to see if they could be fixed. The only thing he could do is leather patch them and it wasn't worth it. He said the same thing that I had thought in my head "why would anyone put a seam there?" I am going to try to fill the space with shoe-goo to get more life from them. Maybe I expected too much from them. Salomon has a decent warranty, but it happened just outside that window. Buy them armed with this knowledge. You might experience the same during your third season. Hope not, though!

I don't have a review but am wondering if anyone can tell me if these boots have good arch support as well as good cushioning throughout the sole of the shoe particularly the heel and ball of foot area?

I had hoped to wear these boots for the winter. I'm a photographer and sometimes we are out in overnight shoots for 12 hours. But this is the second pair I've bought to get the right size. Failing! I'm usually a UK size 4 and now I'm having to go order a 5.5!

1,5 maand in bezit. Heerlijk warme schoenen. Wel een brede schoen. Hoe hier rekening mee als je smalle voet hebt.
