Excellent boots. Although bulkier than many of the competitors, they are surprisingly light. Warm too. It's too early in the going to comment on the durability of the boot, but I've rejected a few others because they were manifestly cheaply made. Lacing them up is a bit tedious (those plastic hooks), but the resultant comfort in deep snow makes it all worth while. And with those gusseted tongues, they ARE indeed waterproof. Bottom line, if style is not your first priority, but comfort is, you are unlikely to go wrong with these guys. (This from a transplanted Canadian; we know snow.)
I'd also recommend:

I bought these boots at the beginning of the winter for my job as a lift operator in Colorado. They were waterproof for two weeks before my feet started getting soaked every day. These boots are not warm enough for walking in snow and they leak like crazy. I am usually a fan of Solomon shoes and love how they all feel like comfy running shoes, but these boots do not, they are significantly less comfortable (and less waterproof) than my Quest 4D boots.
I've worn them all winter, and I have cold wet feet at work every day and have to bring a change of socks.
Huge disappointment, would not recommend to anyone who lives somewhere with snow and real winters.

These boots kept my feet warm but after about a week they started to leak. The front of the boot then started to come away from the rest of the boot and my week got soaked. This happened to both my pair and my girlfriends pair at the same time!

I always have cold hands and cold feet. It has just been part of winter for me. So, I took a chance on these boots and I am so glad that I did.
I've had these boots for about 6 weeks now and have not had cold feet yet. I have used them for walks, snowshoeing and fat biking down to -26C so far.
I would absolutely recommend these to all my friends and actually already have and they thanked me.

My husband really likes these boots. They were a bit stiff the first few wearings, but broke in nicely. Warm and waterproof, and true to size.

I'm really picky when it comes to my feet. I was looking for warm, reliable, rugged winter boots that would last more than a couple years. I read many reviews and I was not disappointed! Great for all outdoor activities that require a warm durable boot, highly recommend!

I am on my second season with these and couldn't be happier. Today I was out hiking at 7 degrees Fahrenheit with these boots and thin cycling socks and my feet were warm and dry. I would buy them again tomorrow.

I usually wear size 10 1/2 shoes, but sometimes need to go for size 11. Ordered Baffin Canada boots in size 11 (way too big) and in size 10 (tight in left toe box, still loose on right foot) and ended up ordering these in size 11. With mid-weight wool socks, these boots fit PERFECT. They arrived just in time, as the next day I was in the Maine mountains and temps were -7 F. Boots kept my feet warm.
I like that these boots aren't overly clunky (unlike the Baffins), they are relatively light weight, are very comfortable, well constructed, and it is much easier to tighten these tightly as compared with the Baffins.
Straight up love these boots and looking forward to using them for a variety of outdoor winter activities, including snowmobiling.

excellent boot after wearing it a dozen times in 10-20 degree temps blowing snow, on a tractor, and riding sleds. feet never got wet, always warm, good traction, and felt secure. boots are stiff first couple times worn, then felt broke in after that. i wear SmartWool socks with the boots and it’s perfect. i have Salomon XA Pro 3D shoes size 10, ordered these boots in a size 10, and fit was perfect with the wool socks. highly recommend.

I've had these boots for about 5 years. I only use them when it is coldest for work and for snow recreation. I generally keep them on a boot dryer and put them on while still warm with quality combat boot socks. Warm and dry every time, all day.
My only issue has been that I picked up a break/tear near the front right side of the right boot where the boot bends as I step. Every year, or two, I spray some plasti-dip into the tear and drive on. They haven't ever taken on water while I was working in them, but I don't stand around in water deeper than 3-4" anyway.
I wear a 12 in all things Salomon (so far), and these are no exception. The fit is right, and the toe box is large, which helps with moving around while working in the snow, and accommodates heavier socks.
I still love these and recommend them (often) to the guys I work with.

Great boot, warm as toast, but the stitching tore behind the toe box on the big toe side of both boots and, seems to be a common problem. Disappointing for a high end boot.

I got these boots for my husband after a very lengthy search for the “perfect” snow boot. These boots fit the bill! They have provided comfort, warmth, and style—lasting many full days out in the mountain snow with the kids sledding, or snowshoeing as a family.

I love Salomon's highest quality high cut summer and winter hiking boots! I have used them for over 10 years for hiking or mountain biking usually 5 to 6 days a week in the mountains. I love the comfort of their softer than usual pads, the lighter than average weight, especially when climbing mountains, and the extra warmth of their winter boots! I like to own three pairs at a time one for summer, one for average winter cold, and one that is three sizes larger for extreme cold in the mountains of northern Utah. To the latter pair, I add two pairs of four ply merino wool socks. I recently tested my largest boots by standing in an ice cream company's freezer at 27 below zero Fahrenheit for one hour and 15 minutes. My toes stayed warm for about an hour then got cold but not freezing cold. I also tested another company's winter boot with 800 grams of thinsulate. My toes got cold at 15 ABOVE zero. Salomon has fixed the problem of the laces coming undone with a lace hook that snaps the lace in place.

I have spent all day in below 0Degree F temps and standing on snow and ice and my feet never got cold.
Ran many snowshoe wilderness SAR missions in the middle of blizzards, worked on the ski slopes all day, waded across icy water streams, Never getting cold feet.
They are fairly stiff walking, not much flex for and aft but; an easy sacrifice for the warmth, comfort, durability when the temps demand such a boot. I have worn mine now for over 13 years and they still look new (granted these are normally not the 24/7/365 boots unless your climate requires it.

I've been wearing my boots 8-4 Monday to Friday for a few weeks now during November 2023 endless rain and I'm very happy with the overall performance. I'm a dog walker and walk 20 dogs per day most days. We travel over different types of terrain, rocky coastline forests and muddy fields so it's important to have a reliable waterproof boot. I've tried heavy duty welly's but they don't stand up to the driving duties also required for my job. The boots are the most expensive pair I've purchased so I'm expecting at least 12 months waterproof service.

I bought them about a month ago and I have only had the chance to wear them once. I wore them snowshoeing and they were exactly as warm as advertised - probably a little too warm for the day but I wanted to get a chance to wear them in before the end of the season.

I bought these Toundra Pro's to replace an older version. The latest model appears to be smaller (not as roomy as older model to allow for comfortable circulation) and more confining but the general material of the outer shell and the insulated lining appear to be the same as the my.older model Toundra Pro. Still a very good boot that should be more than edequate to keep my feet warm and comfortable.on those cold winter days snowblowing the driveway or enjoying outdoor winter activities
