These shoes started out great but over time the left toe protector (and the right to some extent) has become stiff and rigid and digs into my toes. The design needs to be changed.

I bought these boots about 2 months ago. It is the first time I have bought this model in the full leather version. Though it took a little longer to break in the leather model, I have found that they are more comfortable after a day's hiking with a loaded backpack than the non-leather model.

No issues for me, love these boots, very comfortable, true to size. Not sure what else to say about them, some may have had issues but I certainly did not and would recommend them. In addition, I had to contact customer service and they went above and beyond to address the issue, which had nothing to do with the boots. Two thumbs up from me!

Wonderful, only one word needed. I've had these boots for about a year now and taken to half-dozen National Park Hikes in addition to daily use.

Title says it all. Fits as expected.
I was very surprised how dry they kept my feet. Between wicking away sweat and repelling water, your feet keep dry. I'm very happy.

I just wore these on a boat for an entire day on torrential rain. My feet stayed dry and warm. I have hiked in them, and really love everything about them

Great ankle and arch support with great cushion. I am 250 lbs and get about 500 miles per pair. Waterproof Gore tex lining holds up well too

My last three pairs of hiking boots have been Salomon, and I loved them. I am confident that my new Salomon Authentic LTR GTX will be my latest favorite. They fit perfectly, are nice and light, and were super comfortable right out of the box.. I was particularly impressed by the quality and craftsmanship that is apparent in these boots--just amazing. Looking forward to wearing them out.

I bought a these at the beginning of the winter in New England and I couldn't be happier with them. I used the them for shoveling and at a ski resort working on the snow. Water proof and warm for me, I run hot anyway. I would and will get them again

Mi pie va seguro, firme, seco, c?modo.

I bought those boots to go hiking during the winter around the countryside in the UK. They've been tested through mud and passed the GTX test. With regards to fit, I found them light and comfortable.

I bought these 3 years ago and I'm still using them. For the price, I don't think these can be beat. I used to pay around half of what these cost, but I would be buying a new pair every year. These have lasted 3 years and are still as comfortable as they were when I got them.
What makes these great: Outstanding grip on slick rock (and rocks in general), which is a must for backcountry hiking. Solidly built (nothing coming apart yet). Long tread life (after three years of use, they are finally worn down enough to need replacing).
Other notes in support of these: Comfort is good, and they are quick to break in. They hold you steady in the trail. I'm flat-footed and I feel well-balanced in these. I have yet to roll an ankle. They are fairly lightweight. Wear & tear has far exceeded my expectations. One boot finally has a small hole wearing through on the side. But as mentioned above, nothing is actually coming apart.
Only small complaints: the laces never want to stay tied. On a rigorous hike, I'll have to stop and re-tie them every few hours. During normal use, they will need re-tied after 8 hours or so. While they have decent breathe-ability, they do need aired out quite a bit by the end of the day. My feet are damp when I take them off, even during casual use.
Big complaint: wet traction is not good. They are very slick, even on flat surfaces like roads. Ice is especially bad. Their dry traction is amazing, but once they get wet, be careful.
After all is said and done, I highly recommend these. They have survived years of wilderness hiking in Wyoming & Colorado.
