This is a great coat! It fits true to size, is very comfortable due to the fleece lining on the inside, and is super warm! This coat would've been perfect except for the color is not what is pictured for the TNF Black selection. The fleece on the inside is black rather than gray, the sleeves are black, but the hood and the body are a heather gray color. It's still a very pretty coat, just not what I wanted. So be aware that the color is not what is pictured, but other than that this coat is great!

Purchased this after trying to buy it too late last season, and missing out on the size/color I wanted. Bought TNF Black this time and was completely surprised when the torso was more of a dark grey and had a heather-like texture to it. Sent it back as I wanted something all one color, and ended up buying last year's version from another store. That being said, I tried it on and it fit perfectly according to the site's size recommendation. It's a very warm jacket especially for being so lightweight. I completely recommend the jacket, but just make sure to zoom in nice and close on the picture so you know what you're getting when it arrives.

So i read the reviews and ordered a large instead of a medium. It's kind of a bit too big on me now. I may have to return it and get a medium. Anyway, it's very warm and I love the fuzzy fleece on the inside, it's so soft. The material looks very sturdy and its waterproof. One thing I would add would be fleece on the inside of the sleeves because when its super cold I can feel it a teeny bit in my arms. I also like the armpit zippers to let in some air because I sweat a lot.

I love the versatility of this jacket. The liner is very cozy. It ran a little on the small size. I wear a medium and needed a large.

I love this coat, however I had to exchange it because of the reviews i read. Everyone says to 'size up' and that is what I did. I am 5'7, 150lbs, 36D in the chest and I normally wear a medium. I ordered a large in this coat and it swallowed me. So, you don't need to size up. Otherwise, this coat fits well, is suitably warm for Ohio winters, and has a tailored fit that makes it less bulky than other winter coats.

I love this coat. I got a medium and I weigh about 140 pounds and am about 5 feet. It's warm and good for fall/winter/spring. I would not recommend it for super cold days though. It's a good jacket for 25 Degrees and up I would say. I love the color

Fast free delivery. Material was a bit different than I expected but still a great jacket. Next time I will try to look in a store to make sure I know what materials are what.

I got this thinking it was more of a transitional season coat because I needed something for Fall. But it is more of a winter jacket than I expected. It is nice, and I am sure to get good use out of it when it is colder. I do like the soft fleece up by the neck and face. Coral and olive are a fun seasonal color combination.

This coat is perfect for cold weather and is waterproof. The only thing that was a little disappointing is it only has a little fleece and isn't fully lined with it. The design is very fashionable and looks great. Highly recommended!!

Needed a good cold weather jacket for hiking. This is a good looking jacket, but I am giving up on North Face after many tries - I am 5ft 1in, 126 pounds, curvy bustline and hips. These jackets are made for taller girls with smaller chests and long arms. In a medium size the shoulders were too wide and the arms were a good 6in too long but could not get the jacket to close over the bust area. Even in a large, the bust area was tight, and forget the shoulders and arms, looked like a clown. I think even a taller woman would have problems if she were curvy. Its too bad because the jacket was very nice otherwise.

Very nice insulated rain jacket that can easily double as a mid weigh fall / spring jacket. I am looking for a versatile travel jacket that does both. The Sherpa fleece upper body lining is nice and soft, but it does not extend to cover the entire shoulder area, so I can see there will be cold spots. The thinsulste insulation in th rest of the jacket was very thin. I returned this jacket bc it will not be warm enough in cold rainy northeast fall days.

I really wanted to love this jacket and ordered both sizes, XS and S to see which will fit better. Unfortunately, XS was too tight and bulky and S was too loose. The color purple is beautiful though!

I was looking for a warmer coat with style to fit my avid lifestyle. I wanted it to look stylish. This coat fit the bill. Plus I love the color true from ordering it.

I had bought this for snowboarding, but ended up returning in. The outside layer was too stiff for comfortable movement. Also, I had trouble with the zippers and the Velcro closer made the jacket look significantly cheaper. For how expensive this jacket is, they should've put real buttons on it.

The design of the coat is awesome, although once put on does not contours to your body and the material is resistant although stiff and very uncomfortable to wear.

My wife is absolutely pleased with the jacket. But I notice a strange odor coming from it. Something in the fabric has a chemical/manufacturing aroma. I’m not sure how to fix it. I’ve purchased many North Face products over the past 20 years and this is the first to have an issue.

I really liked this coat and was impressed with the construction but unfortunately it was too large for me.

This jacket was really nice but not warm enough. It is not really appropriate for 30 degree weather mostly because the sleeves aren't lined. It was really comfortable and looks great, but I needed to return it because I was looking for a warmer coat

I just got this coat but I used it and it kept me warm currently 28 degree and 5mph wind did a great job! Perfect fit exact color!! Some of the fur came off on my black sweater but ehh it can be washed!! It's going to be great with a sweater underneath for 15 degree and cooler!

When I tried on the jacket it felt weird in the armpit at first I thought it was because my arms were too long for it but when I had my mom check it out she found zippers under the armpit. I don't recommend getting this coat the zippers make it uncomfortable

I had ordered a women's garnet purple inlux jacket. When the package arrived, I almost thought they sent me a wrong one. The outside color and fabric of the outfit are totally different from the coat shown on the web site. It looks like black instead of light purple. Later I returned it.

Cheap feel, cheap price. You get what u paid for, except i know for a fact north face doesnt honor their advertised lifetime warranty as far as their hyvent waterproofing goes. Water will get through seams, jacket will get soaked in rain, and you will get wet. Dont expect to be protected from elements or be covered by company warranty. This is a good "beater" jacket. Wear it and throw away when it fails
