This is a completely different jacket than the prior season. Its much more slim fit and the interior fleece lining is not as comfortable and cozy as prior season. Runs a bit small and I am returning it for a prior season jacket. Color is lovely, though.

I ordered this jacket thinking it would be black but it came in more of a gray color. Besides the color, this is a nice jacket!

I love the jacket, the hood, the inner sleeves. It is a little tight under the arms but I won't give it back.

I'm on the short side so everything is too big or too small. Im usually a medium with a fitted because of the chest area, but with this standard relaxed fit i had to go down a size. I love the length of this jacket but the sleeves are too big.

This jacket is SO warm and comfy! Not the most stylish but if warmth is the priority this jacket is great.

I love this coat but my only problem is I don't like the design of the pockets. A little inconvenient to use but it's such a small dislike that it doesn't even matter

I was looking for a waterproof packable jacket to use for hiking and potentially even backpacking trips (I'm not too hardcore, I don't need an itty bitty stow-away jacket). This has great features like pit zips and being waterproof. It has two zippered pockets too. I think they are kind of at a weird angle (you stick your hand straight down) but I'm glad they are there. The hood has a slight brim that you can bend as you like. I wore this on a 'cold' San Francisco evening and I got very warm after walking to the bus stop for ten minutes. It has this cool inner sleeve that you can pull out and keep around your hands to keep them warm. I plan to take this on my first ski trip and I'm pretty confident I will be warm with all the exertion... again, very happy with the pit zips. The coat is a loose fit so I don't have any problem whatsoever with the pit zips rubbing against me like some other reviewers apparently mention. In fact I don't feel them at all. The one thing I don't like about the jacket is that when I zip it all the way up, the collar sticks into my chin so it's uncomfortable. I will have to leave it unzipped at the top and wear a scarf or something instead. But the pros outweigh the cons and I'm glad to get this discounted jacket! I like the length too, keeps more of my hips/bum covered.

I wear this coat in the cold New England weather. I wear it to my kids out door soccer games during the winter months. I also wear it on cold snowy days.

Based on other reviews, I thought the large would be a great fit, but I was surprised by how bulky it was on me. I'm 5'7", 160, top heavy. I went for a medium and it was perfect. Love that the sleeve length is a bit longer. The top of the jacket comes up pretty high on your chin. It's great for cold weather with a scarf on, but some may find it annoying if it hits your chin.

I like everything about it except I wish it had buttons instead of velcro down the front and the "North Face" logo is not embroidered. For the price seems like they would have added these upgrades to this jacket.

I ended up sending the coat back but am going to replace with a different NorthFace style.

I purchased this jacket for my daughter. She loves it! It fits true to size. Honestly, she never wears a jacket and hasn't taken this on off since she got it.

I planned to use this jacket for snowmobiling but I ended up using it casually I love it that much! I am usually a large but it feels a tad too big but allows room to layer when needed. I am considering ordering another but a size down. Only downfall is the logo on the shoulder is peeling off after 1 wash..

I really wanted this jacket for my own. It's nice and warm and well made, stylish without looking boxy. The hood zips off and the pockets are roomy. What I don't like are the underarm zips, they feel odd. Plus there is no inside pocket but the deal breaker is the collar. It just comes up too high--I mean like under my lip. How am I supposed to drink a cup of coffee without unzipping the jacket? The collar rubs against my face instead of fitting around my neck. Sadly, it's going back.

I love it, I just didn't know it didn't have a seperate liner. It also attracts all the cat hair and fuzz and my own hair all over it.

I love this jacket so much that I bought another. One for work...one for play!

The only detracting comment I would make is the scratchy collar when it is fully zipped. Perhaps trying to shape or cover that top tab would help. I noticed one other comment on this issue. Otherwise, it's warm, fits perfectly, great length and after debating whether to keep the coat after purchasing online w/o trying it on, it's a keeper. Thanks.

This is my everyday coat from December through March!!! Great gift for all ages

I ordered this jacket expecting it to be a lavender color purple. Instead, it is a very DARK purple. I still like the jacket a lot. I tried it on and it seems very comfortable and warm. The medium is larger on me than I expected (I am 5'6''-145 lbs), but I don't like tight jackets, especially for winter, so that is okay for me, but maybe not most. While it hasn't been cold enough yet to wear (thank goodness!), I am looking forward to being able to wear this stylish jacket.

Ordered this because I needed a new coat, I love it!

Makes me look alittle bit bigger but that's what a warm jacket does
