Awesome Fit, Very Comfy!!!

I’ve lost count on the number of Brooks Beast my husband has owned throughout the years. Since the color combination he had in the past was discontinued, he decided on the black/silver one. Looks much better in person and he is happy with this pair.

First pair of Brooks I’ve had, I love them. Lots of support, should be great for Crossfit. Maybe a little on the dorky side, but I can live with it, lol.

I bought these over 10 years ago when after I had back surgery. I tried other shoes since then and some were good but nothing like the Beast!! They give great support, they are comfortable and now they are in black. When I first purchased them, they only had grey. I love these shoes! Cannot recommend them enough for exercise or if you have to be on your feet all day like I do.

Bought these for husband. Usually wears 11.54E in these. DH wanted to try 11 because he felt his old 11.5's may have been a bit too big. Based on reviews that the new Brook's design was approx. 1/2 size smaller than older version, I suggested he stick w/11.5s. Good thing he did. They felt not as big as his older 11.5s but that was a good thing in this case. If I'd ordered the 11s, they would have definitely been too small. Width was great btw. Bottom line: order 1/2 size up & your regular size and compare.

great shoe for large people. I am 365lbs and i have a size 16 shoe size and the Beast was reccommended by my Podiatrist to help with my falling arches. The Brooks Beasts have been awesome. I can put my orthotics in them and walk all day. They last me about 6 months before I have to get a new pair but that is to be expected when you weigh as much as I do. Overall great shoe.

This has been a life saver for my husband. Size is off by half to full-size, but with the right fit he finds it really comfortable and helps him stand upright and apply even pressure when he walks. A win win for him.

This is my 3rd pair of beasts and I think my favorite one so far. I don't have a wide foot, I get this style for the added support that my poor flat feet need. I wear orthotics, but I don't need them with this shoe. The cushion is over stuffed, it feels wonderful and I did not even have to break them in, I slid them on and off I went. :) My only complaint is that I would really appreciate a larger selection of brighter colors.

I'm not a runner but walk a lot - 20 miles in a good week. I've worn the Beast (11.5 and 2E) for over a decade , usually getting a new pair annually. I use an orthotic in place of the inserts that ship with the shoe. I have noticed that the fit seems a bit different out of the box once or twice, but the shoes have always been comfortable immediately upon use. I don't even bother with any others. Many companies don't even bother with wide sizes. It's a great shoe.

My husband loves this shoe. This is probably his 5th pair. He walks 6 days a week and wears them while mowing and also for casual. He pronates and has a flat Narrow foot. This shoes works for him!!

This shoe model was actually recommended by my podiatrist because I suffer from plantar fasciitis. I inherited an older pair from my son and liked them, however they were a little too tight so I decided to order a new pair in 20 2E which were still to narrow (Vietnamese designers). I reordered in 10 4E and they are perfect. Thank you.

My teen son is usually a 10.5 and has been wearing Brooks Beast for 5 years now. This shoe gives him the support he needs and can fit his orthodics. Either he grew in the past year or the shoe is a bit smaller. Had to return the 10.5 and get an 11.

Great sneakers. Beware: they run a full size small!

Love these shoes. I think I own about 15 pair!! I wear them for work (10 hour shifts in a busy outpatient surgery center) and wear another pair to the gym. I usually buy men's shoes, as I find it has more support and comfort. I am a severe overpronator and wear my shoes to a hole by the inner aspect of the big toe. My only wish is that they would be made cuter and in better colors.

This is the third pair of Beast I've owned. I like that they run narrow since I have a very narrow foot. The Beast takes a beating since I am a large guy 6'3", 255, but I've never had trouble with the mesh, the sole breaking down or coming off. Even the shoe strings are high quality and stay tied. Very tough long lasting shoe.

These are awesome! Love them! I am not a runner, I am a disabled veteran with lower back, hip, knee and feet issues. I can't buy just any shoes, brooks cost a little more but also last a little longer.

I just got my Brooks Beast'16 recently and found that the Brooks Beast'16 is overall better than Brooks Beast'14 ,which I have to returned it last year . but, compare with my old one Brooks beast'12 the size still a little bit smaller. After make an exchange from size 8.5 to 9. It fix just right. Thanks a lots to the Zappos's customer service for their help and their excellent service .

Based on previous reviews, I ordered a full size larger. This is total malarkey. I have been getting Beasts for the past several years, and you need to order the same size as you always do - if you have normal width feet. I notice that most of the folks complaining about shoes being too small had wide feet. Anyway, returning the over sized shoes for the correct size.

Comfortable shoe- excellent for walking around.

I read some of the negative views, and I'm surprised. this shoe is great. I have to wear an orthotics with my shoes. Having the luxury of different widths with this shoe helps so much. this is a comfortable shoe. I've bought the Beast several times before. It seems to have improved a bit. Great cushioning which I greatly need. I would definitely buy the Beast again. I need to mention that having the wonderful free return policy, I got 3 different sizes of the Beast. Then from this I was able to pick the perfect one for me. No one should ever have a problem getting the right fitting shoe from Zappo's.

I am very happy with my recently purchase Beast 16's. I have been wearing Beast shoes for years and replace them every 6 months. This shoe was recommended to me by my podiotrist. I wear size 13EEEE because of bunions. Shoe width for me is critical and I have to wear orthodics and special pads from Good Feet for Planter facetious, hammer toe, bunions and loss of padding on my feet. I am 70 year old and these are my go too shoes that I wear daily. I have noticed that when shoe design is changed that it seems that shoe width changes slightly. My feet are tricky to find the right shoe size so I have to try out new designs and change the shoe width with model change.

This is my third pair of Brooks Beast '16 and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I'm 70 years old and still working. I wear them to work where a walk alot and they are always comfortable and durable.

I am a large frame older guy and not a runner. I have been buying Brooks Beast for yeas on the advice of my podiatrist. I'm happy to see they are finally available in Black. I wear a D width and I have never had the problem of an incorrect fit with these but I see where some reviewers have commented they seem too narrow. My fit is perfect and they give me a greater sense of stability than other walking or athletic shoes.

Once upon a time, my wife ordered the Beast and it was the wrong size for her, so I tried on the shoe, even though it was 3 sizes too small -- just for kicks. I had never worn a Brooks shoe before. I knew from the first moment that my size 14s would love a pair of Brooks that really fit. Usually, I wear a 14 narrow in my running shoes. I have found that the Brooks Adrenaline in a narrow size fits me perfectly. But I did not want to give up on the Beast, so I tried a size 14 regular in the Beast, since this shoe does not come in narrow widths. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the 14 regular fits me very well. Other Brooks shoes in a regular width do not fit me, but the Beast does. I am so happy. For those concerned that the Beast is too narrow, I say great! Order a wider width. I am now a fan of the Beast! I so hope Brooks stays with the narrower footbed (or either offers narrow widths for the Beast in the future.) These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever owned. The soles are a bit wide at the back, but they are super stable, so I do not complain. They may be a bit heavier than the Adrenaline for long runs, but for walking and short runs, they can't be beat.

I picked these because I have flat feet and issues with over pronating. I also stand/ walk all day at work and Brooks Beast has been the best by far at taking care of my feet. This pair feels less bulky than Beasts I've worn in the past, which is nice, and they feel as sturdy as ever. They feel slightly narrower than their size.
