I have always worn Asics for walking and running with insoles for my flat arch-less feet. One of my students suggested getting some Brooks. They were always above my price point, but Zappo's made it possible! I have worn them now for 2 days (approx 27k steps), I love them! I need some new insoles, but my heels feel great!

I have worn Brooks Ghost since they started making the Brooks Ghost 4! My podiatrist recommended them for me. I have serious feet issues and have multiple post surgery(s) issues to deal with. The only Ghost that I had any issue with were the Brooks Ghost 7, which ran too long. These Brooks ghost 9 are perfect for me and my needs. The additional protection at the toe of the foot poses no problem whatsoever and the lack of a heel notch does not pose a problem for me but I have narrow heels so maybe that's the difference. Really need this wide toe box.

I've worn Brooks for many years (after podiatrist suggested them). I order a half size larger than my usual shoe size as I was fitted by a local athletic store owner. I'm an educator, and these are very comfortable after standing on my feet most of the day. I have multiple pairs in my closet (from Ghost 5 to two pairs of Ghost 9).

Great shoes, comfortable and good for sprinting/cross training. I've worn Brooks for years and these are the same great quality. Also, cute colors!

Recommended to me by a friend, and I love them! I like Brooks, but some feel slightly too bulky to me. These were perfect first run out of the box! Love Zappos!! Got them so fast!

I purchased Brooks Ghost 9 sneakers in 2 colors I love them so much. Great fit and super "cushy" comfortable for walking/running outdoors. I would say these are the best sneakers I've purchased in years.

The light weight, breathable mesh design of this shoe is the best Ive found in a very long time. The selling point for me was not only the generous toe box, but also that this shoe fits my otherwise narrow feet. I hate shopping for sneakers because I always end up not finding what I want and many times settling. I'm very particular, because not only am I on my feet for 40+ hours a week at a nursing job, I also workout frequently and have had problems with my knees and feet from running and wearing steel toed boots on construction jobs in the past. I was very surprised because this was the only shoe that I tried on by Brooks that fit right and I tried alot! Truthfully I have never bought or even tried on Brooks before. I've been wearing Asics for the past 6 years, but I'm no longer happy with them. It seems as though they don't fit well anymore and I also tried a lot of them on in the tedious search for the perfect sneaker. After I found these shoes I went and bought 2 more in different colors, because chances are I won't find them again!

First time I tried Brooks shoes. Fit great and I like the fact that they are soft and do not need breaking in.

My new favorite shoes!! My old shoes I had to have inserts for heel pain but I don't need it with these! I have wide feet and the wide size is perfect!!! When these wear out I will buy another pair exactly the same.

Brooks ghost sneakers are comfortable . I have foot problems and require a supportive shoe which is well cushioned and has plenty of space in the toebox. I also need a neutral shoe which limits the selection. I wear Brooks Ghost for walking around town, shopping, etc. I wear Brooks Gylcerin for actual exercise walking which I also do everyday.

Very cute and comfortable. Plenty of cushion for me. I did order 0.5 size up and they fit perfect. I am an 8.5 in Asics, 9.0 in this shoe.

I absolutely love the Brooks Ghost 9. I bought a pair in February & just purchased them again. Very comfortable & perfect for running. I wear an 8 but bought 1/2 size bigger for running and they fit great.

Great shoe for high arches. They are navy blue, not black even though they look more black than blue in the picture. 9.5 fit perfectly which is my normal running shoe size.

These are extremely comfortable and very lightweight. I have somewhat wide feet depending on the show and a high instep and these do not aggravate either of these issues. I can't wait to run in them.

Great shoe, it's like running on clouds. Great for runners with heel soreness.

LOVE these sneakers! I am training for the Avon Breast Cancer 39.2 mile walk. These are so comfortable, not a single blister. I did buy 1/2 size up. I bought a second pair!

I work in a factory all night on concrete floors. I tried several types of shoes and nothing could relieve the pain I felt each night and all day after working. I bought these and they are so comfortable, I don't have to take anything for pain in my feet now! thank you for quality, comfortable shoes!

These shoes fit great for my very hard to fit feet. I love them. Most shoes I buy have to be returned but these are a great choice.

I wish I'd listened to other reviewers because these definitely run on the small side. These are my 4th pair of Brooks (second Ghosts), so I ordered my usual size. My toe was hitting the front of the shoe and I could barely stand in them comfortably. Ordering a 1/2 size up seems to have fixed the problem.

Brooks was my very first ever running shoe, some 40 years ago! I've been wearing Sauconys lately, but never felt 100% comfortable. I tried the Brooks Ghost 9 and - VOILA - I found the perfect running shoe for me! Lots of room in the toe box, very lightweight but enough support for my 62-year old knees, and I love the color selections. Hoping to order another pair soon!

Love Brooks Ghost. Last for years and great for all types of exercise.

These shoes are very comfortable and reasonably priced. Highly recommend these shoes for light jogging/running.
