The fit was much smaller than I expected but after getting the correct fit (about a size larger than my usual) they feel great!

These shoes are soft but supportive. I walk 4 miles daily and they are perfect. Even the laces stay tied.

Such a comfortable shoe! This is my first pair of Brooks, and I'm trying to figure out why I waited so long. I usually wear ASICS, but their fit seems to have changed (or maybe it's the construction...), and Brooks Ghost 9 is a fantastic replacement: plenty of room to spread my toes, but my heel is secure. Lots of cushioning, too, as I walk/run.

I LOVED this shoe straight out of the box! Have worn it for a week and still love it. I finally found a shoe that fits my toe area... wide enough to give me comfort. I have a small bunion and this allows me the ability to walk without pain. The arch support is strong but not too strong. And I like the color. I love the shoestrings too! Normally the strings are too long and I end up tripping over them. These are just the right length and perfect. I'm going to order another pair. thats how much I like them!

I have a wide-ish foot and the normal width of this shoe fit better than the wide - I tried both. I get a little slip in the heel but nothing I can't live with. I use these for cross training (everything from rowing to running to weight lifting) and really like the Ghost shoe. It does run half a size smaller in my opinion. I had to return my usual shoe size and get a 1/2 size up. All in all, I recommend this shoe and might buy a spare pair.

This is my first time running in a Brooks shoe. Typically I run with Asics but unfortunately Asics did away with the exact model I prefer which is what brought me to try the Ghost 9. I absolutely love it! I have over supination issues (my foot rolls outward) while I run. This shoe helps to keep my foot in line. Also, I have small but wider feet. After reading reviews saying that the toe box was very roomy, I got the 6.5 neutral (not the wide). The neutral is very roomy but not loose! I love it.

Used to wear Asics Kayano for ten years at least. They changed their sizing and I've been floundering looking for a replacement. Used to wear Brooks a long time ago and decided to give them a shot....very glad I did. Brooks is one of the few companies that offer an 11 1/2 size shoe. The fit is great. Plenty of toe box room without making the shoe look super wide. Nice cushioning, great color choices. I also bought Brooks Adrenaline....another great shoe. Very happy.

Brooks are hands down the most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever worn. I bought these to replace a worn out pair of Launch 3s I have had for about a year now. I go through shoes quickly due to my job. I previously have only tried the Launch and Ravenna styles, but the Ghost 9 has actually been more comfortable than the Launch style to me so far. Great arch support and fit true to size. Definitely will be purchasing again.

I am extremely happy with my purchase after searching for many months many sporting good stores never finding my size or width needed, I found my shoes on Zappos very happy with the shipping very fast overnight shipping excellent service. I paid $30-40 cheaper than everywhere I searched. I recommend highly.

Have been a loyal Brooks runner for the past 8 years. This shoe did not disappoint. Is better than the Brooks 8 in terms of structure and support, though perhaps less attractive. Great cushioning, and the shoes hold up well. Great for recovering from injuries or as a solid training shoe.

I love the Brooks Ghost running shoes! This is the third pair I have bought over time, and I have enjoyed running many miles in these shoes over the years. I trained for and ran a half marathon in one of the earlier editions a few years ago and experienced no injuries or strains in these shoes. Of corse,I also followed good training guidelines for increasing mileage. For size, I would try to order a half size up from what you normally would. I typically wear 7 1/2 of 8 size shoes, but in these I wear size 8 1/2. Also, I think when I first bought this style at a local running shoe store, they said these were one of the most cushioned of the Brooks running shoes. My husband also really liked the look of this particular style...

Having read some of the reviews here, I was a little concerned about moving from the Ghost 8 to the 9. I ran trained for & completed a marathon with the 8's, and would have bought another pair of those, if given the chance. But! I'm equally happy with the 9's. I don't notice a difference in the heel area (another reviewer mentioned blisters), the fit/feel seems identical to me. If you're a runner with pretty normal feet, the Ghost 9 is likely to be a good match for you!

These are excellent sneakers. This is my third pair of the Ghost model and I can't say enough about them.I had knee issues when I ran and I haven't had a single problem since I've been wearing these. They have great support (I have flat feet)

Excellent shoe and fabulous support. Comparable to the Ghost 8 shoe, but with nicer colours!

I went into the Brooks Running store in Seattle to be tested on which shoe style to purchase after I started running again regularly. After hooking me up and putting me on the treadmill, they told me a neutral fit with cushion would be best for me because I had a relatively consistent and straight stride but I tended to land ever so slightly on the outside of my foot and roll inwards. I tried on all of the neutral styles, including the Glycerin and the Dyad but the Ghost 9 just seemed to fit my foot best. It felt like I had something supporting my stride instead of hindering it with over-cushioned soles and an uncomfortable fit. Love these!

This is my fourth pair of ghosts and my favorite version yet! Very comfy and feel lighter than the 8s.

Purchased these for my mother who has had three hip replacements and has a hard time walking or standing for long periods of time. She needed good support and cushion to allow her to be able to do more. These have been great so far for her!

I have three pairs of brooks ghost running shoes and I have been running for 7 years. I started with Nike way back when and have always had pain in my feet during and after a run. Then a friend told me about Brooks. They are the most supportive comfortable stable running shoe and can also be used for walking as well! Really nice colors and they last for quite some time depending on how much you wear them and how hard you are on your sneakers.

I read the reviews and ordered a half size larger. So glad I did! They fit perfectly. I typically order an Asics running shoe and picked these over the Asics this time. Love the cushion and support!!

I love these shoes. I was deciding between this running shoe and the Saucony Ride, which I've worn previously. I chose the Brooks and am very happy with my decision.

This is my second pair because I wanted one pair for the gym and one for the dusty trail. I have had battles with plantar fasciitis and these help me. They are comfortable and I also need the toe box space. I was a former runner in my young days. Now, at 70 and many knee surgeries, just a walker. I usually wear a 8.5 in regular shoe but I get these in a 9. I do not have an issue with pronating and find these made for a normal foot, allowing a slight bunion on one foot to be comfortable. These shoes go on the travel list for me for touring as well.

I truly love this pair of sneakers. I walk alot so I know these will be perfect. Also love the color of them.

I love these shoes. They do seem to run a little small. I typically wear a 7 in regular shoes, 7.5 in running shoes, but I needed an 8 for theses. Very comfortable, good arch support. My only complaint is that they seem to wear quickly. I am on my second pair since February and I don't run THAT much!

Brooks are the only shoes I wear at this point. I have plantar fasciitis and several neuromas on both of my feet which causes ball of foot in addition to my arch pain. The Brooks Ghost and Revenna are all I wear to allow for cushion and toe box room. I have had both of these shoes year after year and I love them. My only wish is that they would come in more subdued colors so that I could wear them to work with my dress clothes and they wouldn't stand out. I used to wear a size 8 in all my shoes but over the last few years an 8 and 1/2 is better for allowing my orthotic to fit well in the shoe.
