Brooks Glycerins have been my go-to running shoes for years, but I've found that I like them less each time the new version comes out. Unfortunately, I'll be returning these. I've always worn a 7W, but my toes touch the ends in this pair, and the heal of the right shoe is about 1/4inch lower than the left, which causes slipping. While I know this is so minor I probably shouldn't even mention it, but Brooks, pay more attention to how your shoes are laced when they leave the factory. I ordered two pair of Brooks shoes and had to unlace and relace both as they were laced in such a way that one side was way too short to tie. Having been a Brooks loyalist, I have to say, I'm a little disappointed.

I wear a regular size 7 shoe and bought these in an 8.5. I think I would have been ok with a size 8 though. What I like about these are the cushiony support which is what I need. I'm very happy with the bright color too.

Ordered a size 8.5 had to send back for whole size larger they run small also recommend going a size wider they run narrow. Zappos fabulous customer service immediately sent new ones got the next day, love Zappos! loads of cushioning, the size larger fits perfect even with orthotics.

I normally wear Ghosts. These are beautiful but gave me blisters in the side of my feet. I dont think I can run in them again.

Great looking shoes. Not enough support for my very high arches.

LOVE the colors of this shoe, and the look--sorry it wasn't as comfortable for my problem feet as another choice, so will be returning. Sure like it tho!

I have been wearing Brooks Glycerin for wears and get a new pair about every 6 months. The new 14 model is much narrower and tighter all over than the 13s. I need to go up at least a half size and maybe a W width.

My toes rubbed on both sides. I ordered a 7.5 D width and was very disappointed in the fit. I think the red was too "in your face" red.

I've been wearing the Glycerin's for several years now; I think my first pair were the 8s. I've been pretty disappointed lately with the "improvements" they've been adding to this line.
As others have mentioned it runs really narrow and you should order a 1/2 size up. I don't run a lot but just wearing them at work (typically sedentary) my feet burned up in these shoes. It got to the point where my feet were super uncomfortable by the end of the day and it felt like my feet were going to bust out of them. Thankfully, Zappos allowed me to return these even though they were worn. Shout out to their awesome customer service team!

I used to be a diehard ASICS fan but then I tore my posterior tibial tendon power walking and my doctor had a custom orthotic made for me that wasn't user friendly with ASICS. He recommended the Glycerins. I bought a pair in a 10.5 narrow and didn't look back. The Glycerins were so bouncy and comfortable and although i wore a 10 narrow in ASICS--Brooks run ridiculously short--the 10.5 narrows fit like a glove and I was really happy with them for a few years until Brooks decided to change them. Alas, the Glycerins started coming in a very long and wide fit. I couldn't find a pair that worked for me and i ditched them for the ASICS Gel Kayano 20s which I have two say I have loved. Now ASICS redesigned the Gel Kayanos and I decided to switch back to the Glycerins. Big mistake. I got a pair on sale in the Glycerin 13 and one in the 14s for full price. I wish i had walked around in them more before keeping them because by the time I took a lengthy walk in the 13's it was too late to return them and my foot would shift in them and I had toe pain and rubbing which I've never experienced before in my life because they were apparently a tad short. The 14's felt a bit better but they ran too wide and not quite long enough for my weird, stick-like feet and so i am now stuck with two pair of Brooks I can only wear on my elliptical trainer. I really wish these companies would just stick to a model that sold well and added new colors and made minor changes rather than redesigning them every single year. I am in a lot of pain and I can't find athletic shoes now. I know most people don't struggle with a torn posterior tibial tendon and with long narrow feet but you'd think that there would be some shoes that aligned with my needs. I've wasted hundreds of dollars on shoes. I'm glad to be able to give them to Goodwill and have someone needy use them, but I am desperate for a pair of athletic shoes that suit me now.

I have always worn a 11B with the Brooks Glycerin. The new Glyderin 14 size 11B did not fit - too small.

I'm a big fan of the glycerin shoe but the 14 is cut more narrow and a bit shorter than prior versions. Decided to try the Hoka Clifton 3 instead

The shoe seemed to vertically compress my foot and currently I have some irritation on the ball of my foot so it increased my foot pain. Also, the sole was still so stepping down on the shoe further increased my foot pain. I thought that this would offer good cushioning but because it was tight and stiff, I could not risk wearing this shoe. Otherwise, the style was acceptable, not too bulky looking. It seemed well made. For the right person this could be a good shoe.

I have always loved the way my glycerins fit! But these have no support or any cushion! The toe box is narrow so I did try the wide and then that was too wide. Sent them back.

Usually wear Defyance but the new Defyance 9 in my size was small so I kept the Brooks Glycerin 14 I'd ordered. At first they were fine but after a couple of hours I realized they were narrow and tried to loosen them. Unfortunately the tongue is very short and the laces are much shorter than other sports shoes. There was no room to loosen laces and tie them. Just replaced the laces so I'm hoping the loosened shoe will be more comfortable. Original laces were48 inches which just makes a very tiny bow.

This shoe is very short - I wear a 9.5 but ordered a 10 and still my toe hit the end of the shoe. Also, it wasn't wide at all even though it's specifically a wide shoe. Cannot wear these so I will send them back.

I LOVE how these shoes feel! However, I've only had them a few weeks & the color is coming off of one side..... really disappointing. I wasn't a huge fan of the color selection, but I got the pink/gray ones & they looked better in person. I just wish the pink was staying on! I would love to add a picture, but it's not letting me.

I have worn Brooks Glycerin before and they worked fine. I ordered the usual 9.5 for my Size 9 foot. It was too short and narrow(I always take a N). The 10 was too long. I was very disappointed as these shoes are normally very comfortable.

They are heavy and make a weird squeaking sound caused by the sole rubbing on the ground. It cannot be fixed. I bout a size 7 and they fit fine. Sent back but they were comfy.

Hi! After about two months of minimal use with these shoes the bottom part (very unfortunately) started ripping off. Definitely did not get my money's worth...

I ordered these hoping they would be the same as the ones I have but they are not. The arch is not that high and the comfort of the shoe is poor. The length is too short and I ordered a 1/2 size larger but the next size up is too long. I even tried putting inserts in them but it was a no go for me. They are being returned :(

I have had 4 pairs of the Brooks Glycerin in the past few years and have loved them. This current model, the Glycerin 14 feels very tight and uncomfortable through the middle where the band of plastic is. I got the Brooks Ghost instead and they are extremely comfortable.

Zappos is great--excellent service! No fault of theirs. But these shoes are the worst I've ever experienced. I believe it would cause me irreversible harm (perhaps already has) to continue to wear these shoes and I should not have given them this long of a chance to work out but I felt I just had to for the money spent. Initially the fit feels great and I like the look. I figured they’d be awesome for my walks, after all they’re Brooks, and I even used their shoe finder to make my decision. I suppose they’d be ok for just get arounds—from the car to the store. But absolutely horrible for daily walking shoes (4 miles). I’m so disappointed and sad at the money I just wasted. My knees are so inflamed from walking in these shoes. I’ve never had an experience like this in my life. This morning I’m calling it quits and to hell with the money wasted—I can’t take another day. After I came in from my walk and made the mistake of resting for a few minutes…I could hardly walk. I had to take a handful of IB’s to get through the rest of my morning. Just horrible!!! I use to be a fan of Brooks but wow am I in pain! Just terrible and a huge waste of my money as I can never wear these again and they can’t be returned!!!
