This is the only running shoe that fits my freakishly long and narrow foot: 12AA (and I still have to add another insole under the original to take up the excess space). But I'll take that compared to the mostly fruitless quest I've had all my life to find any kind of decent running shoe. My only complaint is that the line consists of some of the most garish color combinations I've ever seen and being such a hard to fit foot, don't you know I got stuck with the worst color combo of the bunch. I'm grateful that I've got something to run in but these shoes are not stylish. At. All. The shoes are amazingly cushioned and I've had a good running experience with each iteration for several years. They seem to provide good stability as well although I have no motion control issues- cushioning seems to be their real strong suit.

I have worn Brooks Glycerin 8.5 for years and loved them. I had a few pairs of Glycerin 12's stock piled but now at point needing new shoes. Brooks has changed the sizing of the 13's where the 8.5 are too short and the 9 a little too long adding too much space in toe box. Unable to tighten shoelaces enough at the base to pull out the extra room. I also tried the 14's with same issue. I feel bad for Zappos. So disappointed with Brooks as Glycerin had been a great running shoe thus the 3 stars.

I love this shoe, but you may want to size up when ordering! I typically wear size 9 or 9 1/2 in most shoes, but have always sized up for Brooks. As a long-time Brooks fan, I found that my normal Brooks size 10 (medium width) felt too short and too tight. I've exchanged them for a larger size.

unfortunately this shoe was WAY too hot for me. I loved the cushioning and plush feel, but after a short elliptical machine workout i was desperate to take them off. Compared to my Asics Gel Cumulus 13 which i've had for years, it is like night and day for breathability - in the glycerin you do not see any light coming through any mesh when you look inside the shoe - vs. tons of light coming through the mesh holes in the Asics. Also the padded tongue is extremely thick (and plush) on the glycerin - extremely suffocating in terms of trapping body heat, for me. These went back and I opted for a much more breathable shoe instead.

Love these shoes! They are the absolute best! I get then every year! Only thing is ... Why is it that the one color combination available for a narrow width is the absolute ugliest one?!?!

I am a RN and am on my feet for hours. Plus I walk several miles a week for exercise. Brooks are the only shoe that keeps me out of pain. I starting wearing after I tore my posterior tibial tendon, arch collapse and metatarsalalgia in my 2nd metatarsal. These shoes paired with my orthotic insole by Aetrex L405 W10 have kept me going! This is a neutral shoe so when I add my orthotic insoles it supports my arch and metatarsal.

I have worn Brooks running shoes now for 8 years. I have an average foot with no problem areas, but I like extra room in the toe box as I can't stand to have my toes jam into the end of my shoes. Brooks Glycerine is perfect, giving me the toe room and a nice snug heal. I buy a whole size larger in a running shoe (recommended by seasoned runners when I started running at age 60!).

I run 25+ miles a week. For the past year I have run in Brooks Ghost 8s, but the 9s do not feel right. I tried the glycerins after my friend recommended them. They are so comfortable. I have bought two more pairs.

I am a frequent walker who needs a neutral shoe with a wide toe box and plenty of cushioning. I had surgery for Morton's neuroma 3 months ago, recovery was slow, and was having difficulty finding a shoe that was comfortable enough to allow me to get back to my walking routine. Then I happened upon the Brooks Glycerin and I am so happy that I did. It provides all of the above requirements, and I am making good progress. Though I actually have an average width foot, I need a shoe in size Wide to provide ample room in the forefoot. Not many athletic shoes actually offer a Wide option. Jackpot!
I'd also recommend:

I normally wear a size 9 in a regular shoe and a 10 in running shoes- this was no different. I do think this model runs slightly narrow, which works great for me. I thought this version of the Glycerin had more padding and cushioning around the ankle, which makes my foot and ankle feel very secure. I also like the cushioning underfoot. Comfortable shoe I know I will be able to wear for a long time before they wear out, based on experience with previous models of the Glycerin that I've had.

I have several pairs of Glycerin and love them all. I have fasciitis and need good support. I workout daily in these shoes in total comfort. I use them for everything from zumba to step. Highly recommend.

I have a high arch, wide feet, and I'm prone to plantar fasciatis. These were so comfortable right out of the box; felt like pillows. I got the anthracite/azalea combination - the pink is rather bright, but they aren't too bad.

This is one of the only athletic shoes I can wear that have room enough for my tailor's bunion and that give me the cushioning I need. Ordered 2 new pairs recently to replace an older pair. Took one of the new pairs to to top of Mt. LeConte in the Smokey Mountains yesterday. They did great!!

The 14's are wonderful; unfortunately, the new 15's are way too short and stumpy. Why Brooks and the others keep "updating" styles and ruining the fit is a mystery!

Most comfortable running shoe ever!! I have the worst feet to find shoes for. Between bunions and plantar fasciitis, I need a wide foot bed and a lot of cushion. These work perfect! Will be buying another pair for back up!!!

What I like about these shoes is that they are very supportive all over the foot. I feel like I'm held firmly and securely, and that's exactly what I was looking for.

Originally my wife bought a pair of Brooks Glycerin 15s in Aruba Blue/Anthracite/Purple Love from the local sporting goods store after my recent research and studies in regards to her ongoing battle with foot/shoe pain. However, she felt that they were too bright and will eventually be prone to dirt.
I decided to see if Zappos have them in other colors and sure enough they do! She normally gets all types of shoes in their Wide variety, but with the Brooks Glycerin 15s the regular size were a perfect fit. My wife is cheerfully happy with the Brooks Glycerin 15s, so happy that we were able to entertain her mom get a pair of the new Glycerin 16s due to the same foot/pain problems they both share.

I am a former asics fan but due to their new sizing have switched to Brooks glycerin 14. The next generation, Brooks 15 is out so you can get this fabulous shoe at a great discount. Size runs a 1/2 size small, I ordered a 1/2 size up and the width is generous, very comfy. I bought a pair for myself and one for my daughter!

I first got a pair of Brooks believe or not a missionary that helps out the homeless and needy. I'm sooo in love with these Brooks glycerine. It's like they were especially made for me. I have plans on buying every color. Love them! 2017

I have worn several pairs and they fit great. The running store always wants me to go up half a size but these fit just fine with my normal size. One foot is a smidge wider than the other and they are both comfortable. I bought my first pair at full price so when I saw the Zappos price, I bought two pairs. I wore them to the gym and received compliments on their color.

After many years of running in asics, I gave these a try as I was looking for a lighter shoe. Very cushiony, comfortable, and a smooth ride overall. My biggest complaint is the toe box being pretty roomy. The shoe fits my narrow heal but is a bit wider in the toe box than I would like so it does feel a little clunky in the toe. After a few weeks I've adjusted well too them and they took little to no breaking in
