This shoe is a staple in my closet. It runs true to width (I wear a 6.5AA and with an insert the 7.5AA fits like a glove). I have tried many other New Balance sneakers and I always end up back to this one. Highly recommend it!

LOVE LOVE these shoes. I wear an 11N and have a hard time finding shoes that are true to size. Extremely comfortable and good support with plenty of toe room.

I love these shoes! At first I balked because they look like something that my granny would wear, but I got over that very quickly. These are the only athletic shoes I've ever owned that don't make some part of my body hurt. My orthotics (one with a 1/4 inch lift) fit snuggly into the shoe and my heals don't slip out. This particular shoe is made in the USA, so that makes me love them even more!

Finally, New Balance shoes that aren't too wide (I bought narrow). Super supportive and sturdy. Love the way they look too.

Loved the shoe, however, the back ridge hit against my ankle and since it is reinforced I did not hope that it would soften. Regrettably will have to return.

Love the colors, just not as much support as other styles. Also, seemed a little bigger.

I love this shoe. What more can I say. I've got two pair now and will order another soon. I've always had "hard to fit feet" and these are great. Keeping my fingers crossed New Balance doesn't decide to discontinue, ever. Half size up, but that's pretty standard with NB. Zappos is a great company for ordering, receiving your product quickly, and return super easy too.

Absolutely the most comfortable shoe, true to size, very good arch support. I work in a dental office and am on my feet all day.

Love these shoes, I walk a lot! I think I might buy another pair. I insert my own arch support and feel the shoe gives me great stability.

This is my second pair of New Balance shoes. I hike three miles a day in these and they are supportive, comfortable, and wash up well.

Love that these are made in the USA. comfortable shoes. Laces are a little short. Style could be a little modernized. But very comfortable when I'm on my feet all day.

wanted to really like these- they felt very supportive, yet a little clunky. My feet also looked larger than they are. Since they're very pricey i needed to love everything about them.. just didn't work this time.

I walk a lot, generally between 5-9 miles per day so I really need a comfortable walking shoe. I've been wearing the NB 990 series for years and they are fabulous.

High quality shoe. Lightweight but very supportive and comfortable. Good for pronation. A little narrow fit which is good for my foot. Looks decent.

I walk 10,000-12,000 steps/day 365 as I continue on my weight loss journey. NB990 has been my only walking shoes during this time. This purchase is #5 for my walk-a-thon. They are as comfortable as cozy slippers and my podiatrist insists that the support is especially important for my wide, very-high arch feet. They look "clunky" when in the box, but sharp on my feet!

Wasn't sure about these shoes at first - but after a few minutes realized they were exactly what I was looking for - and needed. They're comfortable and really help with balance and stability. I use them at the gym for a variety of activities as well as walking the dog. And I disagree with another reviewer - I do think they're cute! Didn't know they came in pink though - would have ordered those instead.... And as always - thanks Zappos for the great service!

I was so happy to find this in 5EE! There aren't many shoes in that size, let alone in styles that I like. I have another pair of New Balance in plain white that fits and feels great, but this is cuter!
