This shoe has a defined heart cup which has helped me remain pain free.

NB 990v4 feels very comfortable. There is no break in needed as they are comfortable and supportive from the start. This is my second pair and I highly recommend this style.

I have had problems with my feet most of my life. I have had surgeries and done stretches and tried basically every shoe you can think of but still I had pain. I went to a New Balance store and got on that shoe fit machine. This is the shoe that it recommended for me! I am on my 3rd pair, and I absolutely love them! I have no pain in my feet and legs, and I can walk and do the things I enjoy without worrying about how bad my feet will hurt the next day!

I have wore this shoe for many years,I'm a walker now no more running but the 990 is a cushioned great for pronators shoe. Currently no cartilage in my knees and this shoe keeps me from pain. Long term love me and 990

This is my fourth pair of the 990 series in seven years. I ordered four pair of NB (different styles) this time to see how they compare (returning two). By far, these are my favorite. They are comfortable, well-cushioned, provide support and stability. And they look great! My foot is narrow and the 2A is a perfect fit. Like most running shoes, order up a size from your regular shoe size. I wear 5.5 -6, but order 6.5 in running shoes. Sticking with this shoe.

I walk everywhere possible within a 2+ miles radius of home and need supportive, stable and cushioned shoes. These new NB 990s are excellent. Only issue is tongue lacking-slit is a bit tight, but expect it to loosen over time.

These run a half size small. I wear a size 7 but bought a 7.5 fit is perfect. Very comfortable and very supportive while looking great too!

I was so over the moon when I was able to find the last pair in my size because I had my eyes on them for so long but being a single mom our needs and wants go past place so for me to have them. I as truly excited and happy. I love all things rose gold, with spring and summer Tones. I am one happy sneaker mom !!!

This is the third pair of the same color and model of the shoe and I hope that you never stop making them, otherwise I will have to buy four more pairs now.

This shoe is the best shoe I've ever worn. It supports my foot and ankle and I feel like I am gripping the ground. Supports my foot and ankle. Great arch support. Extremely comfortable. This is the only shoe for me!

I just purchased my 990s last weekend in black and I love them! Both my parents have plantar fasciitis, so naturally I began having problems with my feet at an early age. When I was first fitted I was given a pair of 860s and a pair of 1260s, but I felt like I still needed some more stability. Then they brought out the 990s, and I have to say these shoes offer the best support and are super comfortable. I also purchased the Motion Control Insoles which offer great arch support for my flat feet. Needless to say I am a very happy camper with these shoes. The only thing I would like to suggest is to add more colors to this series. I purchased black because it will go with almost anything, but I would like to purchase more "hip" color combinations like the ones offered in the 860 and 1260 series.
