Very comfortable, nice looking shoe!

I had the same pair, in a different color - now have three pairs, all if different colors!

this is the most perfect shoe.

I prefer the v4 to the v5. The v5 has a large plastic piece on the outer side. And the inner side of the v5 heal looks like a large bland area. The v4 looks great from every angle.

These shoes fit me very well. I purchased them several years ago and these shoes have not let me down.

Love these shoes. Sorry they no longer make this style.

Great for walking & exercise. Excellent support for my 15EE feet. 260 lbs. New Balance always fit.

The toe rubber needed to be glued after a short while but the shoes are comfortable and wear well otherwise. Mine are black, not sure if picture is accurate.

Felt comfortable right out of the box. I don’t use for running, but I do walk a lot and my feet feel very comfortable.

Good but not perfect ?

the shoe for anyone with foot issues. my husband had these in every color. orthotics fit in perfectly.

I’ve been wearing 990v4’s for years and i love love love them was happy i found these because my size has been hard to find since they came out

The 990’s are very comfortable. I was wearing NB 1260v5 and very satisfied. I was sorry to hear NB had discontinued that style. The 990’s run slightly longer but after wearing them it’s not a problem. Keeps me from occasionally pressing against the toe like my 1260’s. The heel cup is snug and very supportive and is actually better that what I’ve been wearing. After a week of wear I’m very satisfied.

Great sneakers! Everything corresponds to the specified sizes. My size is 11.5 US (29.5 cm), foot length is 29cm, all sneakers take half a size larger-fits perfect! Good quality! Very well fit as casual shoes, go well with jeans.

This particular New Balance shoe is a great fit for my husband, who has a very narrow foot, size 16 B

I ordered these for my mom, who has a foot injury, as prescribed by her podiatrist. They are in men’s sizes, so a quick call to Zappos to ask for a conversion and I was helped to pick the perfect size. My mom is thrilled with the sizing and the comfort.

Great Shoe! I bought the M990V4 because of its ratings and wasn't disappointed. Usually, I wear a size 12, but the last pair of New Balance I tried on felt really small. This led me to think the shoes ran a half size small, so, as an experiment, I went up a half size and went to the EE width. I couldn't be happier with the fit! The 12 1/2 was perfect and the extra width made all the difference. I tried several pairs of socks, both thin and thick, and the shoes felt great with all of them, just cinched them up a bit tighter as needed. Great walking shoes and I've received some nice compliments on them, so that's a plus. I can recommend this shoe easily. Just keep in mind they run a bit small. True to size and a little bit narrow for me (the wide was not available), but it stretched within less than an hour of use. Extremely comfortable and great looking. I have used these for light treadmill running (2-3 miles at a time), without issues so far. Great buy.

The men's 990v4 8 1/2 B seems a bit short. I am currently wearing a women's size 11 B which is fine, however, because the men's shoe was on sale, I thought I'd try the 8 1/2 B as that is the usual size I wear. The men's shoe is a nice shoe, however, I like to have slightly more room for my toes, thus I returned the men's 8 1/2 B shoe. I plan to order either a men's 9 B or a women's 11 B of the 990v4 or 990v5. Zappos is my go to shoe source.
