990 has always been my go to shoe from New Balance. Great comfort, & stability. Roomy forefoot and toe box and great selection of widths. Made in the USA!

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Especially nice since they were ordered online with my best intuition for proper sizing, without being able to try them on first. They fit like a glove, and are a pleasure to wear and stand all day.

I recently purchased New Balance running shoes to wear on the Carrollton Green Belt. I found them to be very comfortable. The insole is removable so they can easily be used with my orthotic supports. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I recommend New Balance athletic shoes to anyone who has narrow feet, as I do (11.5 AA). There is no other choice in men's athletic shoes. I have used this exact model of shoe through several pairs for at least 10 years. They are comfortable, very durable, and look like athletic shoes. I am a geologist, so I take hikes over rough terrain fairly often. If you can stay away from spiny desert plants they are great. The sole is thick & hard enough to do the job. Watch out for the sides, however.

Bought these for my father as a gift, he tried them on in-store and loved the light weight but ample support. He walks around a lot for leisure and he says his feet never feel strained. Fits true to size and works well with customers who have a more pronounced arch than most. I would definitely buy these for him again!

I have undergone several surgeries, which include: Rupturing left and right Achilles and 6 Knee scopes and not to 2 complicated Spinal Surgeries with Fusions, Screws and Rods. I have tried other brands, but New Balance is by far Superior in Comfort than All other Sneakers. They have the cushioning and support, as well as Stability I need to get me through each and every day. I am addicted to the 990's and 993's. I also had models 991 and 992 in the past. I strongly recommend that if you find a model that is comfortable to your situation, purchase multiple pairs, as some models will change and you will not have access to them in the future. I learned this, as the 991's and 992's are no longer being produced. I would also suggest buying inserts and replacing the insert that comes with the sneaker. I use the Motion Control and Pressure Relief inserts, as they provide an additional amount of comfort and arch support. Just a Great Sneaker.
