Whether you are in the gym, in the field or at home the 990v4 's most comfortable, stylish, holds up over time, reasonably priced for its quality athletics shoe. I've been a fan for years.

I've worn New Balance for running since the 80's, when the brand was recommended by my physician, who's also an Iron Man triathlete. I've ordered through Zappo's because of their prices and fast shipping.

A very nice shoe, but as a lifetime "B" width person, these are definitly wider in the heel than I'm used to. I have no idea how a "2A" would fit. Seems like it would be a lot narrower.

Great fit and comfort. I now have 3 pair. Convert from 18+ yrs in Asics Kayano's (still a very good shoe). Well padded and very stable. I do not run but wear for100's of miles walking. Pricey to get unique colors from the NB web site. Next pr will be UK models to see difference.

These are my second favorite running shoe after the Brooks Ghost 11. The NB are solid, comfy, supportive and made in the USA primarily. Only reason I prefer the Ghost 11 is that they provide significantly more cushion/shock absorbance. The other bonus is that the Ghost 11 are less expensive.
The NB 990 are terrific though.

So what if the laces are too long. Cut them in half, snip off equal lenghts from each cut end, tie a small knot and put them back in. Have done that with a number of different shoes. Don't have to be an engineer to figure that out.

Ridiculously pricey but only available through NB site and made in USA. Fit true to size. Used for walking - not running. 1st pair noticeably less cushioned after many miles hoofing through Disney numerous times. Will try new insoles. Soles and tops wearing very well. Just bought 3rd pair! Need to make colors available through military Px. Highly recommended.

My husband has been trying to find great fitting sneakers for a few years and nothing worked until I decided to take a gamble in these after reading all the reviews. Although pricey they are worth it. He finally found a pair that not only had his size 14s but were nice looking and comfortable with no support or arch issues. Would buy again.

I bought these for my husband, he usually wears a size 9.5, I returned them for a 10, but it could be because he has a very high instep. He foot is very wide (4E width), and often the width ruins the attractiveness of the shoe, but these look great in addition to being comfortable. Very pleased with the purchase.

This is my husband's 2nd pair of these exact shoes. They are the only sneakers he will buy, and is obviously very happy with the fit and feel of them. He especially likes the fact that they are made in the USA. He calls them his Obama shoes, since he found out Obama had a pair!
