These booties are adorable. I am 6 feet tall and the heel on them is great, where I do not feel like I am towering over others. However, even for a narrow foot they are tight. I purchased the black ones in my normal size, wore them and it was a little painful. I purchased another pair (in a different color, they are cute) in wide and they are much more comfortable. The inside of the bootie is lined perfectly and the foot bed is cushioned, almost as if you are standing on an anti-fatigue mat. It would be nice to see more colors/ options in a wide size since they are extremely narrow.

Where do I start? First of all I have 2 different size feet. One is 7.5, the other 8. So I ordered an 8. I like a roomy toebox so I ordered the Wide. First the outside: I expected a distressed black or a soft leather like the picture called Old Black. Instead I got shiney new black, the leather is not soft. The stitching embellishment on the top of the foot on one of the boots is slightly off center. I took a pick but was unable to upload it. Inside the fit is very snug. Even in the wide. Good news for girls with slim feet. This is your boot. If you have an average foot, get the wide. You will thank me. And if you are a 7.5, order the 8 Wide. That's your fit. Yet like I said, it will be snug with a thicker sock (which is more comfy in a leather boot). I bought these boots as a dress boot not a work boot. You can't slip them on, you will need to zip and unzip the zipper each time. And the zipper could have been a better quality. I'm keeping them because they are still super cute with a comfortable heel height. Overall, I took a star off for the narrow fit and questionable quality. I expected a bit more from Ariat.

Its been over 2 weeks and I havent received my boots.

Nice boots ! But I had to return them because they where a little bit too small. And that was a surprise. Because I have always size 9,5/41. Country boots, shoes and western fashion boots. And now it is hopefully 10/41,5.

Love, love, love. Ive been waiting these to come back in stock in 10W and they were worth the wait! They are so comfortable, cute and I get lots of compliments. I can wear these all day. Its hard to find cute western boots in wide sizes but these are perfect!

I just purchased my third pair of these boots. All Ariat boots fit well and are comfortable - I have 3 different pairs. I especially like the Darlin because a short boot is preferable during the hot Texas summers. The side zips make it easy to put on and take off. The elevated heel height, rounded toe and attractive stitching make this a very attractive boot.

These run a little small. I would recommend getting half size larger.

Im only writing this review because Ariat will not stop emailing me about it. I tried to order these boots in a wide, but Ariat cancelled my order because they say they do not have them in stock. Of course, their website still indicates that wide boots are available for purchase. The one star rating is for the inaccurate website description since I never received the boots. I have tried these boots on in the store and they are WAY too narrow! They are cute but I cannot wear them with my wide foot.

I bought these for my wife. She absolutely loves them and wears them nearly everyday now. She had a small break in period but, it wasnt uncomfortable during that time.

Relatively comfortable. Super cute. My first pair of boots like this. I sized up a half size and they are somewhat loose, but if I had gotten my normal size I fear they wouldve been too small.

Comfortable, supportive arch and best of all stylish. Love the chocolate brown color that goes with everything. Thinking of getting them in another color. I wear a 6.5 in my Nikes and the sizing chart was absolutely correct, I needed a 6.5 in the boot. They are my first pair of Ariat but wont be my last.

Very beautiful, finely detailed, good leather and craftsmanship, just wish the sizing wasn't presented as wide when it's so incredibly narrow that even broken in they're still tight.

Love how they feel on my feet. Not sure I have a defective pair but the toe area seems kinda dark. More like a line from dark to light.

Love the color (Burnt Sugar). Works great with jeans. I took off one star because I would have liked some cushioning for the inner sole.

Very comfortable boots with a sundress. I walked all day in these. The round toe worked on my wider feet though they looked a little like a kids' boot. A but warm on a hot day.

Beautiful boots! I wear them almost every single day. Theyre awesome for a more casual fit when I dont want to wear my taller boots. I wear wrist boots almost every day! They are a little small, I usually wear a 6 but get a 6.5 in the rounded toe boots. My square toe are a 6 but pointed tend to fit smaller.

I read a review that said the wide is really a normal size, where the normal size is narrow. Unfortunately I didn't listen and bought them anyways. I want to confirm what other reviewers have written, THEIR WIDE IS NOT WIDE! This is my first time buying boots from Ariat and I am hoping and praying this isn't true for all of their wide boots, otherwise this won't be a brand I can wear. I am returning these and trying another boot out before I give up. Hope this helps the TRULY wide footed females out there. Super cute boots. Didn't realize it had a zipper. Heal is higher than expected... this would be a good work boot. More for dress up.
