My husband purchased this coat for me as a Christmas gift in 2013 after I admired his black Apex Bionic jacket. It is now my go-to outerwear. The fit is very good. I am quite tall [6'3"] for a women, and sometimes I have issues with ladies garments. This jacket is made well and is nice and sleek. Extremely warm without bulk - Absolutely Love it!

I do not like hot, heavy jackets. I live in Virginia and the winter temperatures are pretty mild. Since I have had this jacket, we have been hit with some very cold temperatures, and this jacket is toasty warm. I was very (pleasantly) surprised by how thin the jacket is (which I LOVE) and how warm it was at the same time. I love the fit and length and the fact that it has such a high zip up collar. This is the first time I have ever owned a North Face jacket and you can be sure it will not be my last.

Great product, easy ordering although website was busy fir Christmas called direct and got right through .. My daughter loved the jacket and it can before the promise date of 12/24

Bought this jacket for my wife birthday. She already had a beige one but always wanted a black one. Now she has both. She is as happy as a jaybird! Btw, I have a men's one for myself. Its a nice coat and keeps you warm in the Utah winters.

My mother gave me this jacket years ago and somehow I lost it last month and was so sad. My new one is great and I love how it is light but protects me from the wind and looks so nice on me. Thanks for making a great jacket.

We love Northface...

This is my fourth North Face jacket I've purchased. This one is my absolute favorite, I love that it's waterproof and wind does NOT get through it. I recommend this one for everyone. Very comfortable and easy to move around in, and did I mention that it's adorable. _TNF

For those San Diego winters, when it drops to sub 60, who wants bulky!?!? This jacket is perfect and comfy soft.

I bought this for a trip I just got back from in Seattle. Not a true rain jacket, but the rain was never heavy, and it definitely cut down on the wind chill! I love the feel of the jacket too. It's so structures, it would be impossible not to look sleek and sporty in it. Love this jacket

This jacket can do everything it claims to do. It is water resistant, wind proof and it's really warm. I wore it in poring rain along with wind gusts of 90km/h and I was dry and warm. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone

I've started to notice that almost everybody I see owns a North Face jacket. I've always wanted one because they looked so stylish. The other day, I went to a rodeo and it started to down pour and my friend let me borrow her North Face Apex Bionic. I was completely dry and perfectly warm. Wearing her jacket, made me want one even more. I immediately ordered one the next day.

I love this jacket. I am 5'4' 115 lb. I am usually a small but ordered a medium and it fits perfect. The arms are just a wee bit long but that is fine in my case as I also ride a Harley . I wore it today in the rain and it kept me perfectly dry and it dried out quickly. Also excellent in the wind. I am so happy I found the perfect jacket for this North Dakota weather.

Fits snug so wish I went up a larger size...

I bought this jacket for winter season, but I ended up having to buy another one that is heavier. The fabric feels good, but attracts a lot of lint. The large fit is very big for me on this style.

I use this jacket in my everyday life and it suits me well, however I wish they would have stayed with the original style and cut in my opinion it was the best fit and the most flattering disappointed with the bionic 2 cut!

I probably could have done ok with a L but I got an XL because I wanted to be sure I could fit a sweater underneath comfortably. It will, but the sleeves are SO long. I don't even think the smaller size would have helped there much in this. And I actually consider myself to have monkey arms - usually sleeves are too short on me, so when sleeves are too long, I know they're TOO long. It's fine when it's cold and I want the sleeves to cover my hands, but they bunch up when I wear gloves, or when I don't need them to cover my hands, and I feel like it makes the coat look a little frumpy. It's too bad because overall the coat has great styling and fit. I'm keeping it because I've wanted a TNF soft shell coat for a long time and it was on sale for once, but I'm not as happy with it as I hoped I would be.

This is the second Apex that I have purchased. I went up a size with this jacket, I am 5'11'' and the larger size allows me to wear this over a sweatshirt easier and has a loser fit which is more comfortable for me. I liked the change in the cuff, it is angled so it covers the palm of my hand nicely!

I have this jacket from a past season, I had to replace because my dog chewed a hole in the pocket(there were treats in the pocket). This new one feels really snug, and I have other north face gear in the same size and they fit well. So thata little disappointing. Overall they are great and use them for winter hiking and tend to layer clothing. I will say my previous one's zipper had some weird malfunction where it didnt line up just right and zippered outwards instead of flat. So I'm worried that'll be an issue with this one. I would buy this item again though because it's perfect for what I want.

I use it as a semi light weight jacket for cooler night. It's great for layering
