Love this jacket. However, I ordered a small even though I was advised to order a medium. The fit is very flattering and Tailored. Would definitely buy again!!

I wear this when I'm outside and I love it.

Growing up I hated having puffy jackets but that was the price you had to pay for warmth in cold weather. I came across this jacket and immediately fell in love. I've had it for two years and it still looks exactly the same as it did when i bought it and keeps me warm every time i wear it. It looks so sleek and so thin and I feel so comfortable wearing it. If you don't like puffier jackets but still want to be really warm then try this out!

I love this jacket! I have not had a real raincoat in years and I definitely needed something more substantial than a hoodie or even a thin windbreaker style rain jacket up here in Maine. I love the shade of purple that this came in. I am generally a black/white/gray type clothes and jacket person. The feminine cut on this is great as well. As someone who is on the larger side, I sometimes opt for the men's stuff, but this came in my size and has a nice female cut. It makes me feel great wearing it! Can't wait for the bad weather now! :)

I looked all over for a woman's soft shell and, for whatever reason, they aren't currently sold at many Canadian retailers. My 15 year old beloved Helly Hansen no longer fits my changing body, so I was in need of something for Ottawa's volatile spring and fall. So I bought this here, online and was quite anxious about whether it would fit and be what I wanted, and I couldn't be more thrilled. It's a very flattering fit, slimming in a way I like. I'm thrilled with the exterior fabric and the fleece inside - and appreciate the extra fleece at the wrists! I've worn it in light rain and it repels water nicely but I know this will likely wear off in time. Some people have commented the sleeves are too long but I think they are perfect. They come right to the end of my wrists. I don't think my arms are particularly long but I am almost 5'7 and I wear a small, so maybe if I was shorter or heavier I would have more of an issue. On sizing, some advice: I tried the sizing tool on the site and it suggested I was a medium. I have the North Face Ventura rain jacket though and it is a small. I tried the sizing tool for that coat and it also said I was a medium and I was worried about its accuracy, so I called North Face. The woman I spoke with advised against the tool and suggested I use the sizing chart that you have to dig a bit to find. Once I did, I found that I should get a small. It fits very true to size: I am the larger end of the small measurements and it is a bit fitted but not tight. So don't use the tool: use the sizing chart. Also I bought the black heather - since I understand that different colors can fit differently. I just wish it hadnt got so warm this week - I want to wear it more! Oh well, I am in Canada. I'll get my chance!

This is a very warm and good quality coat. The sleeves are a bit long on me but I am short -- 5'2", wish NF made petite sizes -- but otherwise this is a great buy! I can tell it will last for a long time.

great product...very versatile

I love this jacket! I can wear it all through the fall and winter! Keeps all the cold wind out. The pockets are perfectly shaped and the zippers are nice and smooth. Best jacket Ive ever owned.

I bought a jacket similar to this one 6 years ago. I have worn it and worn it. It still feels great but is not as white was 6 yearssss ago. So , I bought a new one. I love it!!! But guess what, I still wear the old one when I am very casual and the bright white new one when I want t look really goooood! Great product!! You will not go wrong with this jacket!

This jacket is a fabulous layer. Somehow it keeps me warm without getting over heated. I love that it keeps the wind out. I use this jacket as a casual jacket, and also as a layer underneath another jacket (windbreaker this time of year, and ski jacket in the winter).

It is a little heavier than I thought. I wanted a cute, lightweight rain jacket, but it is good for these cooler than May should be temperatures!

Wear for outings and sometimes everyday use

I use my North Face wear when I walk, go shopping or work. Very comfortable and stylish. Would be nice if more products were in size 1x.

I live in South Texas so the winters here are pretty mild. This jacket is perfect for our winter weather.

Casual, wear when needed

I love this jacket. I have a hard time with sizing because I'm tall with long arms so I went with the XXL. It's a great fit with plenty of room to wear a sweatshirt underneath. An XL would probably have been a better fit if the arms were longer but I'm happy with the extra room, as I don't like to feel restricted. For reference, I'm 5'10, 200 pounds.
