This newer improve designed jacket fits a tad bigger and has longer sleeves. Very stylish and I get lots of compliments. I even purchased another in a different color.

Usually wear a medium. Had to return to get a large cuz it was very tight in the chest area. My chest is small but the tightness in the chest area made it very uncomfortable

This jacket is more runs a little small . It's very stylish abd has a tailored polished look to it . I find it to be a little restrictive when it comes movements but it's definitely a win if you are looking for a warm wind proof / water proof jacket that is still stylish and would look good with jeans .

This was a gift and the recipient seemed rather pleased with the purchase.

Living in Michigan, I needed a jacket that would get me through the cold but not frigid days. I have a Women's North Face Denali fleece that has a "warmer" rating (note: that jacket is a women's XL--I sized up in this one due to the noted cut of the jacket) so I decided to look for one with a "warm" rating. This jacket is exactly what I hoped for! It's great for those 40 degree days but it also got the job done when the wind chill was making it "feel like 19". The outer shell does a great job of cutting the wind to keep you warm. Outside of the standard zip pockets and the pocket on the left chest (perfect for your phone), I was absolutely delighted by the cut of the sleeves. They are cut slightly longer on the top for more coverage without being too long on the bottom side and compromising the use of your hands. Plus, there is an invisible inside cuff that helps keep the cold air out.

This fits well. I'm 5'6" 150lbs and got a medium. Still losing baby weight so will fit perfect once I lose a few more lbs but right now is a lil snug w a long sleeve shirt under the jacket. But it is very comfortable and love the look of it.

This another great Jacket from North Face. I have purchased several over the years and as usual this one does not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Bought this type of jacket for my daughter back in 2005. She wore it often it was her go to jacket.She now lives in Helsinki Finland.Jacket just starting to fray in cuff area. This jacket has served her well. She is an avid biker,runner and hiker.The jacket is lightweight and warm. Great for the cool spring and fall in Finland.Just bought her the Apex Bionic Jacket 2 for Christmas. Thank you for such a great product.

This jacket is one of my everyday jackets in the winter! Definitely my most loved and favorite.

Awesome jacket warm and light

Sleeves are a bit long for me, but this is generally true of most clothing I purchase. Had an issue with delivery which customer service took care of promptly and without hassle! Very pleased.

What a great jacket, lightweight but blocks the wind keeping me warm without overheating like my down. Perfect for temps 20-50* Very stylish and I adore the grey, so many color choices.

My husband gave me the bright coral for Christmas two years ago and I loved it so much I bought a canary yellow and one for all my nieces and nephews for Christmas.

The jacket is great for anyone wondering the logo is not other sewn in but the logo does have a good quality meaning that it's not like a type of sticker.

My mother bought me and my boyfriend matching jackets for Xmas! She gave the to us early since we recently relocated to Colorado. They look amazing on us and I wear mine every day. We love them and they fit great. I am 6'1 and bought a 2X the arm/body length is perfect for my size! Jacket fits great! Thank you!

This jacket is amazing! So glad I waited to buy the updated design :) For reference, I am about 5'5 and 120 lbs, pretty slim, and almost always wear XS (sometimes XXS). I do have broad shoulders though and long arms LOL. Personally, I find that TNF can run big and I usually have trouble with the hem being too loose (and looking funny when I use the cinch cord). But this jacket FITS PERFECTLY! At least for this size, it is a TRUE XS. Other PROS: 1. STYLISH: I found this slim fitting despite it being labeled as "active fit" 2. Super WARM 3. WIND RESISTANT CONS: 1. A little basic in the black color. 2. Can get TOO HOT/LACKS VENTILATION: I cannot imagine wearing anything more than a thin shirt under this, and definitely cannot imagine running in it (this issue may be resolved with sizing up, but I just find the S too big). This jacket would seriously be 100x more amazing with the simple additon of PIT ZIPS. That way you could wear a scarf and do cardio without overheating, and not have to tear it off as soon as you walk indoors. In sum, I highly recommend this jacket, but would purchase again if pit zips were added. IF YOU AGREE, PLEASE SAY SO!! Who knows, maybe TNF will come out with the new and improved, well-ventilated, Apex Bionic 3 if you do ;) Thanks!
