Not truly black, more of a dark, metallic grey.

I ordered these sandals because I have wide feet and Sam Edelman is the only brand i have had luck finding shoes that dont look boring. The width on these sandals was perfect. The height of the heel was very comfortable as well. The part i have problem with is the actual shape of the insole of the sandal. I do not know if anyone has feet that narrow near the arch section. it is too curvy and part of my foot is literally stretched out of the sandal when i wear it. This is also where the arch is so i think its safe to say if my arch isnt on the sandal itself, there is no support. I was really hoping this would be comfortable. I had to return this. I might try a 6.5 W and see if that works.

This is a sexy looking shoe. Unfortunately, it's not for me! The strap across the toe was a bit tight, the heel just high and skinny enough to feel uncomfortable and potentially unstable. For people who live in heels and wear them easily (not me) this might be a great find.

These are BEAUTIFUL shoes, I wanted to love them so much since they looked great for a wedding I was attending but after wearing them for 2 hours I couldn't take it anymore, the strap that goes across was too tight which is weird because I got these same shoes in the nude leather and they were so comfortable I went and ordered these the next day. Thank God for Zappos return policy which allowed me to return these. I would suggest getting these in a Wide due to the material but definitely get these if this is the look you're going for. Super gorgeous shoe!

I normally wear a size 6.5, but my pinky toe always gets crammed into the strap of the shoe, and that is the most painful part of wearing dress shoes. I thought a wide size in these shoes might solve that problem. After reading reviews, I went with a 6w because it seemed that they all run long. The width was perfect, but the shoe was way too long. Sadly, there was no 5.5w available. So I ordered both a 6 and a 5.5 in the regular widths. The size 6 were still too long but the length on the size 5.5 seemed perfect. Both sizes, however, were too narrow. My feet were spilling over sides. But the bigger issue was that my pinky toe was crammed in, as usual, and after standing in them just long enough to look in the mirror, I could tell that they would be very painful to wear for any length of time. Sadly, all 3 pairs are going back. If only a 5.5w was available... I think that size would have worked for me. They are beautiful shoes, I just wish they had a pair that fit my little feet.

I ordered these shoes in black and nude in the same size. The nude shoes fit perfectly. The black were a half size too big, even though they were the same size.

Wanted to love this shoe. Perfect heel height, perfect style. Bought several colors thinking this would be a slam dunk. Purchased normal size 7. Not sure it felt truly a half size smaller, but given the review size options to choose from chose that. Overall the shoe felt less snug than I'd hoped; in the heel and arch. There was more space between my arch & the shoes' arch than I'd have liked (e.g. a gap). Heel moved around a bit in the shoe as well. And the shoe extended farther beyond my toes than some other styles. Returned the shoes. Maybe I'll try 6 1/2

I made the mistake or ordering wide width. My toe box is wide with a narrow heel. The wide width was too loose and I think the regular width would be too narrow. Too bad the leopard is so cute.

No problems at all with the fit, but the strap across the toes was impossible to bear after walking only 3 blocks. I eventually gave up and sought relief by having my husband carry me piggy-back for the last block.

I frankly can't remember the fit. What sticks out in my mind is: (1) the mesh looked and felt cheap; (2) the heel looked stubby despite being thin. Big fan of Sam Edelman but not of these shoes.

The heel runs big. As for the width- it still felt tight for me.

Cute style very chic but the wide width runs a bit bigger

I wear a size 12 in most flats and athletics and fluctuate between sizes 11-12 in heels. I ordered these in size 11.5 and they were much too big at heel and toe strap. Not able to wear comfortably at all. Will be returning bc of poor sizing. There was poor padding/comfort considering the cost of these shoes. Because of my shoe size I’m not able to find many shoes for me in stores. I needed black heels for a formal event. In Nordstrom stores I could only find a $40 low quality heel in the size and color I needed so I bought these online and paid for rushed shipping thinking that at $100 they’d be a better mid-range quality at least. They were no better than the $40 low quality pair in comfort.

This is such a popular style and I wanted to like it, but found a shoe that had a thicker band over the toe. This one was way to narrow for me. It felt like I barely had anything on so if you are looking for that - this is a great shoe.

After reading all the rave reviews, I can’t seem to find a good fit. I’m a 10 W. I first ordered that and it was too long. The width was a generous Wide, almost too wide. So, I exchanged for a 9.5 Wide thinking that would be perfect. The length was perfect, but the width most definitely didn’t feel wide. It was squeezing my feet and barely held my little toe in. So, I guess I can’t wear it. Beautiful style, though.

I am almost always a 10, but had almost an inch of room in the front of these. Cute, but exchanging for size.

In theory, this is a beautiful shoe. Unfortunately, it is not comfortable or stable. I love to wear heels, but did not feel comfortable or even safe walking around in this one, very unstable. So sad to be returning.

These are so pretty and I wanted them to fit so badly. Unfortunately for me, they are too wide. I have a narrow and flat foot and I just slide right through these. :(

I bought this in the jute glitzy mesh fabric, and in person the fabric color was paler and yellower and the gold glitter was coarser than I had expected. It totally clashed w/ my tan complexion so I'm returning them and thinking about getting these in gold leather. The style is exactly what I wanted though. It's true to size. The heel is low enough to be comfortable (although I didn't give it a true test run) but the style is overall elegant and sexy unlike a lot of low style heels which can look matronly.

Pretty shoe and very soft. I ordered several different sizes based on reviews and here is what I figured out. First, I ordered both a 6M and a 5.5 M because reviews said they ran big. I am normally a 6M although my foot is a little wide in the front...A little bit. The 6M was way too narrow across the strap but ran true to size length wise. I didn't even try the 5.5 if 6 was too small. I sent both back and ordered a 6W. Got those and they were at least a half size too long but the width was perfect. I figured a 5.5W would be perfect but it looks like 5.5's don't come in wide. :(

I had to return regular width and exchange for wide. Wore them and within 30 minutes the toe strap was digging into my skin. I have a normal shaped foot no bunions. Patent won’t stretch. Zappos won’t let me return because I wore them.

So, Zappos suggested to order a half size up. I read the reviews and some people felt the show ran too big in their regular size. I’m with them. Zappos needs to change their recommendation! I ordered my regular size and a half size up. My regular size 6 were easily a whole size too big. Felt like the width would have worked on my wide foot. They don’t make these smaller than a six so I ordered a pair of Naturalizers. The style is very similar and the fit is perfect.
