This shoe was cute and had a really nice fit. I liked the playful detail of the twisted ribbon. and the anti-microbial insole and the reflective ribbon on the outside were nice surprises. One shoe rubbed a little below my outer ankle, but I think it will break in and be ok.

These shoes felt comfortable the minute I put them on from taking them out of the box. I like that they cover my toes. I have so many sandals with toe exposure, so I love these. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. They are cute and very comfortable.

These shoes are so cute, comfortable, sporty, and sassy. I had an older version (when it was J41) and wore them A LOT. So much so that the mesh started to detach from the rubber toe area. Luckily, this style is still available! Construction is similar to the old version, though the heel area does feel a little stiffer. I usually wear a size 8.5 and would say these are true to size. These shoes look and feel great on my "frog feet." I opted for the charcoal/plum combo this time (had the grey/pistachio before). Both colors are great with just about any outfit. I do wear little liner socks with these, because no matter what I tried before (clean feet, wash shoes) the last pair would get pretty smelly. But maybe it was just me. Overall, love these shoes!

I wore out two pairs of these shoes. I finally found them them again, and they've been changed! These shoes rubbed my heel raw, whereas, the first two pairs fit great, felt great, just wore out! Please pass along these comments to the manufacturer!

I found my first pair (the blue ones) of this style by accident in a discount store and looked for them everywhere. It's hard to see the brand name on the shoe so I wasn't sure what it was. Coincidentally I had purchased 3 other Jambu pairs of shoes from a small local store that specializes in shoes that fit people with problem feet. I liked them so thought I would see if the Zappo's site carries the brand. To my delight and surprise I found this shoe that I had been wanting more pairs of. I purchased the black/white and the charcoal/purple. They are not clunky looking like a lot of shoes with arch support. They are really cute with jeans, shorts, skirts, casual slacks. They have a slim look to them and I like that because my feet are small and somewhat narrow. Nice amount of arch support without looking "orthodic".

These are perfect sporty shoes for everyday wear. I love the details, the rope knotting is really cute. I have bunions and it is hard to find a comfortable petite looking shoe. These are a keeper. I really like the purple/black.

These shoes are fantastic! I have lived in them all summer with pants and casual skirts. They are so comfortable and so cute. They are water proof so when I take the dogs to the lake and get pulled in, no problem. When they get stinky because I always wear them barefoot, I just take out the insole and wash it and the shoe in warm soapy water and leave out to dry. I have received compliments on them and they ar easy on and off with velcro straps.
I'd also recommend:
Jambu, which I think is the parent company

I get compliments every time I wear this shoe. I work in a Spa so I need to look dressy and the black & white ones do the job. They are soooo comfortable... I wear them all day, every day. Even great for outdoor activities like Frisbee.

These shoes are as cute and comfortable as everyone says. The added bonus is the that trim is light reflective - cute and safe for walking outside at night.

I love the feel of the rubbery memory foam sole. But, I also owned the previous pair and I would agree with every other review on here that this new design rubs around the ankle. So much so, that the day I wore it without socks, it rubbed the area under my ankle raw and I had to wear a bandaid over that spot.

I ordered these as a replacement for the same shoe I bought several years ago that I'd loved. These fit differently: bought the same size (9.5) but it's too small and too narrow. I wish these came in a wide width - normally that's what I order but my last pair of 9.5M's in this style were great. The upper seems a little higher as well - hits me a little higher on the ankle and rubs. Cute style and I like the fact that the sole is cushioned well. These were my go-to active-wear sandals but I'll have to find a different style.

The Misty Encore once again was true to size. However, the composite of the sole has changed from the original and does not have the same traction. It is a bit slippery and picks up debris. I will keep the shoes and hope that I will not be disappointed by the newer version of Misty Encore as the original was truly a fantastic shoe.

I originally bought this in 7.5 (my usual go to size), but the top of the shoe kept digging in. I bought a half size up and it solved the issue. It's light weight and comfortable to wear with no-show socks (I recommend Bombas). I'm going to wear them for a while and if I like it, I might have to get another one in a different color. I'm giving it 4 stars for comfort for now because I just got it out of the box and I'm wearing it around the house. The true test is taking it on a trip. Style- I gave it 4 because it looks cuter in the picture. It's still cute.

These shoes are darling but the outside edge of the shoe cut into my ankle, too close to my bone. So bummed because otherwise they were very comfy.

I wanted to LOVE these totally adorable shoes! Unfortunately, while wearing them around my house, for less than 30 minutes, I had torn blisters on the outside ankle of both feet. I am beyond sad to be returning them.

Love these but returning. Rubs my right foot at the edge of the vamp below my big toe. I wish I could be certain they'd stretch out a bit.

I wanted to love this shoe! It was great looking on, but I had the same problem as other reviewers -- the back dug into my ankle bone; worse on the left foot than the right. I'm going to try a different style...

I had a pair of these shoes several years ago - and they were fantastic!!! They were the most comfortable shoes I ever had on my feet- and I wore them to death. These do not quite reach up to that standard . While these are comfortable, and I kept them, they do not compare to the ones I had several years ago. They are a bit too deep. But I remedied the issue with heel pads. Overall, a good pair of shoes to when one wants to avoid wearing sneakers. I guess the fit depends on where they were made.

As others before me have said, the high outside edge of the heal hits your ankle bone. Such a shame as it is an incredibly cute shoe.

These were very cute, but the side hit me right at my ankle bone and I knew would leave a blister so they went back. Too bad.

The first pair I ever ordered are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I tried ordering a new color, but one shoe was significantly tighter around the top of the foot, than the other. The replacement pair came, both were extremely tight on the top of feet. I have narrow, thin feet so I don't recommend these any longer.

So, so sad. I love everything about these shoes. Unfortunately, the back rises too far up and jams up and scrapes against my ankle bone. See the part that goes around the heel? It starts to rise in an arch up to the back of the heel. That is the FATAL FLAW for my feet. And, I don't understand it, because I've checked all other JBU designs for casual shoes, and this rise does not exist. Why make the back rise higher on this particular one? Despite the comfort of the footbed, great fit, and the perfect style, I have enough experience with shoes to know that this part of the shoe won't 'wear in.' So bummed.

I was so excited when I saw these. I had the original J-41 Misty Mesh and thought they were discontinued so I was really surprised to see what looked like the same shoe under a different brand and name. It seems they rebranded and made some improvements but also some mistakes. The sole seems sturdier and I was hoping that meant these would last but I’ll never know. I threw out my old Misty Mesh - they developed holes in the soles after less than a year of wear and the mesh was also coming away from the rest of the shoe. (Annoyingly Zappos told me that 3-6 months was normal wear & tear and would not replace them. J-41 was out of stock on the plum so sent me a replacement in a different color which I gave to a relative.) I remember the Misty Mesh being comfortable out of the box and needing no breaking in. I wore them almost every day. The Misty Encore looks exactly the same. They are so cute and I wanted to love them but they were uncomfortable out of box and after trying them on over several days with and without socks and re-reading the other reviews, I decided they have to go back. I’m so mystified by all the reviews sayin they are so comfortable. It seems like they used harder materials for parts of the upper and I’m not sure if the back is higher but it digs into the back of my ankle which was not a problem with the Misty Mesh. I saw that other people were having this problem and guessed that it’s not possible to break them in. I compared them with the back of my very old Merrell Waterpro Pandis which have never bothered my ankle and found that in addition to being shorter there’s a slight dip in the middle of the back so there’s nothing to rub against the bone. I think if the back of the Misty Encore were just a little lower or shaped differently they would be fine. I will be sending this feedback to Jambu as well. Also, I usually wear an 8.5 but had to get 9 for the Misty Mesh so I only ordered the 9 for the Misty Encore. The sizing seems the same as the Misty Mesh. Something they didn’t improve which is too bad is the velcro strap. Their velcro is much grabbier than other brands I’ve used and when I had the Misty Mesh they messed up several pairs of my cotton socks by getting stuck to the socks. I don’t have this problem with the Merrell Waterpro Pandi.
I'd also recommend:
