I wore this to coachella for two days. I came back with no sun burn on my neck and my head was comfortable with it.

I went searching for a hat after my dermatologist who had taken a pre-cancerous thing off my face suggested that i start wearing hats. i never wore a hat prior, and would use a visor and oakleys for sun glare ignoring the top of my head which has plenty of hair and the same naturally exposed section where the hair parts. Anyway, the hat is great, it's light weight and the brim stays in place to where you adjust it. There isn't any need yet to use the draw string and it stays in place nicely. Haven't had it long enough to worry about washing it, but it is put together nicely, so I have no worries.

High quality hat that gets the sun out of your face and its adjustable to get a snug fit on your head.

Website made it almost impossible to buy, wouldn't let you click on the product to purchase, would take you to a different product. Had to find ways around it in order to buy it. I ended up giving the hat away to my mother in law

The brim on the Small/Medium hat is too big (3 inches). The brim should be slightly more rigid as well; it's a little too floppy. I'm so bummed because I like everything else about this hat: lightweight, breathable material, great color. Unfortunately, the brim is just too big and I refuse to look like The Flying Nun.

I received my hat this past Monday (4/6/15) and it runs really small. I ordered the L/XL and I normally where a 7 1/2 baseball cap, and this hat is TIGHT. It looks silly on me. PROS It is made up high-quality, lightweight, breathable material. CONS Too small The brim is also too small. I specifically bought this thing for shade.

I'm surprised at the high ratings for this hat. It must be used by folks in not very strenuous activities or who don't care about a wide range of vision. My first use of this hat was in hot, bright sun. As soon as the brim of the hat became wet with sweat, both sides drooped all the way down to my ears. This blocked all peripheral vision. The hat is very comfortable and easily adjustable, but if you're needing to be able to see clearly in all directions, this is not the hat for you.

I bought this hat based on the low price for a wide brim hat that provides UV protection. Surprisingly, the top of my head got burned badly after 3 days or working outside. The reason, only the brim provides UV protection, not the crown, or top, of the hat.
