I needed a hat to keep me shady and fashionable, and this one definitely fits the bill. Beyond making me look like the perfect outdoorsy dad/tourist, it keeps its shape, dries quickly, and matches everything.

I love how this hat protects my face from intense UV rays and keeps my head cool during long hikes and walks. Highly recommends this to any hiker or outdoorsy person!

Fits perfect and has elastic headband inside and adjustable drawstring! well worth the price.

Great hat for my use - Volunteer patrol work in one of our great National Parks. Our uniform protocol requires a supplied ball cap or an approved alternative if more shade is required. Used this one a couple of times so far on very hot days. Very comfortable, gave needed shade - used evaporative cooling feature (hint: dip hat in cold water, shake off surplus, put on head) to great +ve effect (and no significant -ve visual to park visitors). Now wish I'd ordered more at the sale price of this one ...

Perfect hat for sunny days on the water.

I have a sun allergy and need more than just a baseball hat to help protect my face and neck. This hat is perfect. I looked around at several different hats not seeing what I really had in mind until I found North Faces website. Bingo, this was it! Hat is great quality, fits perfect and gets the job done. Great hat for the beach. I wear it by the pool, in the pool and in the ocean. Does a great job of keeping the sun off my head and mesh keeps my head from sweating. Must have for vacation.

The best brim I have ever owned for anything outdoors. It's been a great hat for protection from the rays In the 90+ degree heat we've had lately but allows my brains to breathe.

I used that for hiking. That was just awesome. Very good ventilation. I stopped a few times to wet the hat and I loved the results because the fabric don't acumulate the water in order to get the hat heavier, instead it gets cooler.

I bought this hat for my dad who lives in S. Korea. He hikes almost every week for last 10 years. As soon as he received this product, he said that it is the best hat he has ever used so far. If he didn't like the hat for any reason like wrong size, color, shape or else, he would send it back to me for refund. However, I only have received complements about the product, not the real product to get refund. I am happy as much as he is. Thanks.
