Very comfortable. Runs a little wider. I have a bunion and the leather strap across the toe area conceals it nicely. The leather is soft and provides comfortable support. I had no break in period, right out of the box the sandal was very comfortable. I usually find Born shoes comfortable.

I really love me these shoes. Elastic band keeps these securely across my feet. With narrow feet, I have really hard time finding sandals which I don't swim in. They are very cushiony. With that said, you do hear a bit of noise of air as you walk around, but it doesn't bother me. Some other reviewers were bothered by it. I am really pleased with this purchase overall. It's perfect pair for our hot Texas summers.

talk about comfort!!! Just like my other reviews, my only concern is how these would fit once the leather stretches mainly around the ankle. these look very casual, but beautiful. I'm still deciding btw these and similar shoes. Only reason for returning these would be bc the other styles can be dressed up a bit. I may come back and get these later....

I really wanted to keep these sandals. They felt so comfortable on my feet; nothing constricting about them. However, when I walked in them, they made a squishy sound, as if air were being compressed with my every step. I know that is a sign of the cushioning in the sandal, but I just couldn't live with the sound. Maybe someone else might not notice the sound...unfortunately, I did. I wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9. In some Born shoes, a 9 would have been too big, but in this case, the 9 fit. Too bad.

This sandal I have owned before and my local stores did not have anymore. The pair I purchased from Zappos were true to size and as comfortable as my previous pair. They are so soft and form fitting to your foot. They are my go to shoe.

Loved this shoe. Had ordered it in a 9 and thought that if I get a 10 then the front buffer area would be bigger. So I returned size 9. Unfortunately the front room did not change. Only the back straps got looser. Returned the 10 and ordered it in a 9 again. Going to keep the shoe.

These are phenomenally comfortable. I bought the next size up on a whim, because I now that elastics actually have less give than leather - unlike leather, they never will stretch (unless ruined). Well much to my surprise the 7 fit just like a 6, which is my normal size in most Born sandals. Usually even if I size up a 7 would be at least a little too big at least in length, but not these. I do have a bunion and the 7 is just wide enough to not irritate it. All this having been said they are actually quite ugly, I hate to say it, even though the color design is somewhat whimsical. Too much attention drawn to the feet, which is not my thing. The yellow and red is a bit too much, so I am going to try the neutral beige. These are not for the look as far as I am concerned, they are definitely for walking though. And welcome back the old squishy born footbed in almost all of its glory. The foot is cushioned and cradled all around. Just do size up if you have bunions or a high arch. The back does not slip off at all because of the way it is constructed and attached to the cross strap - when you step it is actually pulled up onto your foot by the cross-strap, all this without any stretchy scratchy buckles. A very thoughtful design for summer walking. I just hope that it does not prove to be too hot for casual wear, that elastic being in constant contact with the skin. Yet another reason to go larger on these.

These are so comfortable with nice cushioned soles.

I loved these shoes and they were VERY comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return them, because the front strap hit right on my bunion in an odd way. They felt amazing on my left foot, though ;)

Love these. I have some mobility issues and am always on the lookout for cute, stable, secure sandals. These work. The elastic is comfortable, not too tight and have a little forgiveness if your feet tend to swell a bit in hot weather. I’ve had no issue with “squishy” sounds. Just soft lightweight comfort.

Wicked comfy sandal. I knew I would love wearing it all summer, but they were a half size too small and don't come in half sizes. Unfortunately had to return.

Shoes are very comfortable. They are squishy and make a noise when walking. But that doesnt really bother me.

These were super comfortable right out of the box and fit exactly true to size. If you're between sizes you might have a problem but I was very happy with the precise fit. The straps are definitely snug, which I like because the shoes stayed on and didn't slip at all while walking, but I can see why some people might find it a little constricting. It's a cute, flattering style compared to many 'comfort' sandals, which seem bulkier. Yes, mine make a slight air pump/squishy noise when walking too, so don't buy these if you plan to wear them in a quiet office or something like that. But if you're out and about all day sightseeing or walking around a city it's not a problem; literally no one will notice. All in all really happy with these.

These sandals are so comfortable. The fit is perfect. I ordered my usual size, 9. They do not flop or slide off the heel of my foot. Could not be happier.

I love these shoes! The padding is so comfortable in the shoes for wearing to work. They can be casual or dressy.

These are great sandals, but unfortunately did not fit. They do not come in half sizes, and the 9 is too small and the 10 too long.

I love these shoes. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Like some other reviewers, I would say they were comfy from the second I put them on, and also there was no discomfort of breaking in, etc. I look at them in my closet and want to wear them, like a craving to wear them, because they feel so good. They are also really cute. They make my old veiny foot look cute. I got the blue color, which is a little like a washed denim. At tirst I ordered it just as a fun let's see kind of thing, but it is an awesome color and like denim, a little bit neutral, though a fun splash of color at the same time.

Love these shoes. As with all Borns, they were comfortable from the first wearing. The color is very consistent with the picture. Great, fast delivery on my order!!

I love these shoes!! They are now my go-to shoes when I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking. They feel like bedroom slippers. I would highly recommend them.

Instantly wearable! These are very comfortable and did not need a breaking-in period. The elastic strap is very soft and cute, and gives the right amount of support/hold. The leather color is smokey blue with a touch of purple. I have worn these with jeans, shorts, and a casual skirt. Excellent sandal.

These are some of the most comfy shoes I've ever worn. First day I wore them, I walked a couple of miles of city streets, and had no rub spots, no blisters, no foot fatigue whatsoever. And they're cute as all get out.

Totally cute -- just too short, as other reviews stated. I think the next size up would be too big though. A half size up would be great.

They felt true to size and felt pretty comfortable. The elastic band didn't have the pattern that is shown on the picture. It looked plain. The front part is a bit wider than I would like. Also having just a slight raise in the heel would add to the comfort. Otherwise, they look and feel great.

These shoes are SOOOO comfortable. LOVE them, but sadly, I had to return. Size 10 a bit big, size 11 too big, a half size would be perfect, but alas, no half sizes available for my super big feet. I have a VERY hard to fit foot, and was so sad I had to return these. They would be perfect both for dress and casual for my upcoming trip to Spain.
