I usually wear a size 8.5 and tried these on. I have very narrow feet with tall arches and thin legs. These were not as comfortable as I had hoped. They are pretty tight in the ankle, but not too tight, but when you walk, the rubber bends into your leg. I think they would work, but for the price, I can't justify something that isn't more comfortable, even if it does last forever. Thankful that with Zappos I can try shoes on and get free returns. Thank you!

Refinement over rated.....NOT great if you have muscles/tuck in your jeans: I love my Original Wellies, but since I actually wear them in the mud, yard, and barn, I wanted a new pair for more presentable public rain wear. I really wanted the high gloss navy so order the "Original Refined" which seemed like a good idea. Perhaps if one has REALLY skinny calves and or does not tuck in your pants they work, but I found them too narrow for normal wear. Also they seem to be made of light weight/thinner rubber so that one can see the lines of your socks through them. Not the nice durable material that Hunter is known for. Shoe bed is also narrower, although my normal ones are large enough for me to add an insole and wear heavy socks (a must when its cold) I could only wear a thin cotton sock with these and you could see shape of my foot through the boot. Sending them back, will have to settle for shiny red or black originals-- or may be I'll just wear my work worn ones with pride.

The boots look very nice but they are too tight in the ankle when I walk and I have small ankles. That makes them uncomfortable to walk in for me, so I am returning them and getting the regular Hunter boots instead.

These shoes were adorable but they do NOT run a whole size big like the typical hunters do. I originally ordered a 7 (I'm a solid 8). The 7.5 would've been perfect but I ended up ordering a different style. As always Zappos is so great. They were so easy to return.

So disappointed. I was thrilled to see a pair of Hunter boots with a thinner profile for the boot shaft/calf, unfortunately, the smaller calf translated to a much narrower foot bed. Sending them back...sadly...

I have skinny legs so I thought these would work out better than the traditional boot, but they were TOO tight right above the foot and at the curve (under the shin). Unfortunately, had to return.

I ordered these boots in size 5 and 6. My feet are size 5 but quite wide. I’m 5’ tall (plus half an inch) weigh 110 lb and have very thin calves. The shaft of these boots were too wide (plenty of room left to fit my whole hand even though I was wearing jeans). They ended up right below my knee cap but hit the back of my thigh uncomfortably when I walked, so I don’t recommend these boots for anyone under 5’2” (side note- I have proportionally long legs even though I’m short, so 5’3” if you have relatively short legs). The size 5 was a tad long, but not too long to say it’s a size bigger or anything. However it was VERY narrow for me. Usually it’s just the front of the shoe that feels tight on my wide feet but this boot was even tight on my heels. I tried them on with regular socks (not super thin but definitely not thick socks). Even the size 6 was uncomfortably tight despite being almost an inch too long. Steer clear if you have wide feet.

I loved these boots, but they were unwearable after I owned them for 13 months, of which I only used them maybe 4 months. They have so many cracks in the rubber, which is unbelievable considering the price. I found many reviews that said the same thing ... these boots do not last.

I need to return these. I have thin legs and had such a problem getting these on and should have stopped there. I got one on and was alone and struggled to get it off..pulling a muscle in the process. These are NOT anything like the originals.
